Christie,

Hello fellow Freedom girl! I sailed the Liberty recently and there were roped areas for the suite guests. Yes, they were in the tiered sections.

By the way, I'm waiting for you CTN review! I've been searching for you on the Freedom 9-06 board so you can give me a review!

I believe there is one in the bathroom on every ship. You can always bring one of those polarized adaptors that give you two outlets from one.

Sorry no plug outlets in the bathrooms. I was on the Liberty in August of this year.

Christie,

The spaces weren't reserved when we sailed in May, by I've heard that they are now. To tell you the truth we started to sit there but found it impossible to get out of the sun. These tiers were filled at the begining of the cruise and near empty by the end. I noticed that a lot of the people who frequented the area were burnt red like lobsters by the third day, and had scads of peeling skin by the end of the cruise.(mostly the macho men).

Mike

GROSS! lol I love those seats though...I am VERY sad that they are being reserved. ALL of them, or just the majority of them???? :(

Here's your tiered area visual with sign...

So sorry Christie, here's a better pic....it is both sides. :( If you look closely you will see the little blue signs on both sides. I wasn't too bummed about that perk that I didn't get (we were in a JS), the one that I really would have liked to have gotten was the use of Portofino or Chops as a separate quiet dining room while at the Windjammer for breakfast or lunch. I'm just going to have to get over it or get a second job to upgrade!:D

I have been on the Freedom and seen on RCCL site that the Jr. Suites are the same color scheme on the Liberty. Is this true. Anyone have a pic. Staying in Jr. Suite #1378 on Liberty any video or pics, I would love to see.

Hello neighbor. :D This was 1370 on the Liberty.

Does anyone know what movies are playing currently? And did I miss the answer to my question about soda prices? Trying to figure out if it's worth it for DH to get a soda card.....

You will be so busy, you won't have time for Movies:D !!!

Think the soda card is about $6 per day plus taxes (we never get it) as we don't drink that much soda...

Have a wonderful time on your cruise, we are on the one right after you, so take care of the ship!!! Later, Jill:cool:

Somewhere on here during one of my browsing sessions.. i saw someone had scanned in copies of the daily cruise compass, that little paper thing that comes every day to tell you what's going on.

If anyone could give me that link, I would REALLY appreciate it!

Also, does anyone have any info on if we can see an online version of the weeks menu?

I know I'll be too busy for movies, I was just trying to show DH that they're usually pretty recent releases...right?

And I'm curious how much soda is WITHOUT the card.

Not sure how much soda he'll drink, so don't want to shell out a bunch for the card if it's not worth it...ya know?

Hey! Just got back off the Liberty Saturday...the on-tv movies were all within the last few years. I remember Evan Almighty and the Bee Movie being on there, plus a couple action flicks. (we didn't watch many either). They also had this continuously running special showing how they built the upgrades on Sovereign, that was kind of interesting.

Soda was I think $2-something a glass. Not really worth it to us, they have plenty of free ice tea and lemonade in the Windjammer. Also of note, the health-drink bar by the H20 zone is hugely overpriced as well.

Cool thanks. There's a theater too...no? Was it the same movies?

We also just got off the Liberty on Saturday. Yes, there is a theater showing movies. They were PS I love you, The Bourne Ultimatum, The Game Plan along w/a couple of others. DH said some of the same movies were on the television also.

Cost of the soda package comes to $48 total. Cost to buy a soda is about $2.24 a glass w/tax and tip.

Hi - What a wealth of info on this board! I have a couple of quick questions that I hope someone can answer. 1) Do you know what the table minimums are for BlackJack in the casino and 2) What night of the week is the mystery dinner theater. Thanks so much.
