Satchel85 Posted March 2, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 2, 2008 I always have the worst time shoe shopping! I'm super picky, so I have a hard time finding the perfect pair that I have in mind. I'm trying to find a pair of silver classy strappy heels to go with my dress with a 3-4" heel. Anyone have any recommendations on some websites to check out? cb at sea Posted March 2, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 2, 2008 Buying shoes without trying them on isn't the best idea! The hallways on the ship are very looooong! Lots of walking! Almost every department store I've been in lately has strappy silver shoes!
Andee Posted March 2, 2008 #3 Share Posted March 2, 2008 http://www.zappos.com http://www.shoebuy.com They offer free shipping in both directions.

sea-cruise Posted March 2, 2008 #5 Share Posted March 2, 2008 I agree with CB. I bought two pair of cute shoes from Newport News and had to return both pair. The vamps were shallow and pressed down on the tops of my toes. Good luck with the fit if you see any nice ones online though! :)
Rare Lois R Posted March 2, 2008 #6 Share Posted March 2, 2008 Zappos:) I have bought 2 pairs from them in the last few weeks and I love both:D They have a great return policy too. Mine are both more casual sandals but they have plenty of dressy choices as well.
kmbcruiser Posted March 3, 2008 #7 Share Posted March 3, 2008 Try these ones from Penney's. I ordered them and really like them a lot. http://www.jcpenney.com/jcp/X6.aspx?DeptID=53411&CatID=53411&Grptyp=PRD&ItemId=12ad722

Houndmom Posted March 3, 2008 #9 Share Posted March 3, 2008 This is a local store that has some very reliable brands and good selection of sizes, and their yellow-tag clearances are GREAT!!! http://www.shoesonashoestring.com
simplelife Posted March 4, 2008 #10 Share Posted March 4, 2008 Do you have DSW in your area? They have the best selection and prices overall that I have encountered (Off Broadway is a close second) Once you find something you like that fits well, the on-line sites are great! I've gotten wonderful bargains on e-bay after trying on in brick-and-mortar stores. I have a very thin size six foot and have bunions so I am not easy to fit, but I love ot save money. This arrangement works well for me.
satchiesmom Posted March 4, 2008 #11 Share Posted March 4, 2008 I got an email from a site called smartbargains.com and they have a thing going where you can buy 3 pair of shoes for $99 and there were a few pair that would meet your criteria. A great pair of high heeled jeweled silver sandals. I got the notice this morning so I don't know what's left by now, but you may be able to find something. Good luck! Moondawgie Posted March 4, 2008 #12 Share Posted March 4, 2008 http://www.onlineshoes.com I bought two pair and love them ... they have reviews under the shoes that helps with choices. And they have a free return policy.
mauiedin87 Posted March 4, 2008 #13 Share Posted March 4, 2008 Is this your first cruise? As someone else has said, those hallways to your cabin are very long and depending on sea conditions you'll be weaving right and left on your 4" heels. After spraining my left ankle once falling off my dressy heel when the ship lurched, I no longer wear anything that doesn't give me a little stability. Spraining or breaking an ankle really crimps your style when you have some nice shore excursions planned!;)
