ryane369 Posted March 3, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 3, 2008 Hi, does anyone know if there's a website where i can check out what groups will be on a certain cruise?
LHP Posted March 3, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 3, 2008 http://www.shoretrips.com/common/groups2.asp?grpsrch=GRPNAM http://unofficialcarnivalwiki.com/wiki/Group_Cruises (this happens to be Carnival, but the other cruiselines probably have one as well) http://www.cruisecritic.com/cruisestyles/articles.cfm?ID=349 None of these sites will be 100%. I also suggest that you go to http://www.google.com and type in the name of your ship and the month and year you are sailing. Some groups have websites that will come up when you do this. Good Luck
lady_cruiser Posted March 3, 2008 #3 Share Posted March 3, 2008 That thread has "some" groups but not all. Every year, for the past three cruises, we have sailed with a group of no less than 400 people. It is sponsored by a local radio station and our group has never showed up on any of these sites. Our next group tour is the week of January 18, 2009, on the Royal Caribbean's Voyager of the Seas. Before we left the ship the group sponsors had over 300 people to sign up for the 2009 cruise and more and more people are signing up as the weeks go by. cb at sea Posted March 4, 2008 #5 Share Posted March 4, 2008 Even if there are "groups" aboard, unless they are really odd, you probably won't even KNOW they are a group!
Happy ks Posted March 4, 2008 #6 Share Posted March 4, 2008 Even if there are "groups" aboard, unless they are really odd, you probably won't even KNOW they are a group! So very true. Unless the group is huge and takes up much of the public space. In all the cruises we've been on, only one was a problem for us. The group was nice, they didn't cause any havoc and were quite quiet, but they were so huge some of the public spaces were off limits to the "regular" cruisers. ryane369 Posted March 9, 2009 Author #7 Share Posted March 9, 2009 Anyone know of any other sites where I can find this information?
Iluvmypuggle Posted March 9, 2009 #8 Share Posted March 9, 2009 Try your roll call on the CC boards. Also, google your cruise date and you may find some info.
ryane369 Posted March 9, 2009 Author #9 Share Posted March 9, 2009 Thank you for the reply. I've googled the date and just came up with options to buy a cruise for the date searched. And the roll call for August 22, 2009 on Carnival Liberty seems to be dead. I guess I'll just have to wait a little longer for people to join.:)
California Native Posted March 9, 2009 #10 Share Posted March 9, 2009 Hi I have a personal travel journal website ~ on it I put a list of 6 resources, that will help you find out if a group is on board. Which gives you an idea of your demographics Follow the link below and then go into Karen's cruise corner and just scroll down. http://ourpassportstamps.com/

California Native Posted March 17, 2009 #14 Share Posted March 17, 2009 Actually you dont need to spend your time reading the sticky on HAL board, that info is one small part of the list on our website.. which i might add is non commercial, no advertising and we dont track you personally.
