kitty9 Posted March 21, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 21, 2008 Depending on the cruise line, it goes anywhere from $1.75 to $2 a can, plus the 15% gratuity.
paul929207 Posted March 21, 2008 #3 Share Posted March 21, 2008 If you know the line you will be sailing on, go to that board and ask. As stated above, the price of sodas and soda cards varies from line to line.
cb at sea Posted March 21, 2008 #4 Share Posted March 21, 2008 On RCI the total is $2.01--that includes the tip. That's a typical cost for a soda in any hotel!
neverthought Posted March 21, 2008 #5 Share Posted March 21, 2008 How much does a can of soda cost? Don't want to buy soda card but sometimes like a soda.Thought about bringing a 12 pack on board We always bring a 6 or 12 pack onboard. This time will be challenging because of the flight , but I will find somewhere to get the soda. I just can't see the prices they charge for the soda, as mentioned above, if you have 1 glass a day x 7 days, that's $14...true not alot of money, but for soda! Yup, I'll be finding somewhere to get my six pack. IMO bring the 12 pack onboard! Neverthought
BruceMuzz Posted March 21, 2008 #6 Share Posted March 21, 2008 A can of soda costs: $2.50 from the vending machine at the Hilton in Ft. Lauderdale $3 from the vending machine at the Holiday Inn on Grand Cayman. $3.25 from the vending machine at the Marriott in St Thomas. $3.50 from the vending machine at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Honolulu. None of those vending machines offers you a glass, ice, a napkin, a lime slice, or a smile. Most of the cruise lines offer you all of the above - and some service - for about $2.
