Hello, everyone. I have been reading this board for two years and have yet to actually post. I just wanted to thank everyone for all the information, tips and laughs. I absolutely love the fact that (almost) all people here are not only here to enjoy reading about and discussing cruises, but to really help others as well. I can't believe how quickly many people are able to get answers to their questions.

I went on the Caribbean Princess last month and had a fantastic time. My FCC lasted me only a couple of days after I got home. As you can see, I have already booked another mini-suite on the Ruby for February 09. I can't believe I was able to grab E730 with the larger balcony. This countdown clock is gonna kill me.

In any event, I really wanted to let everyone know how appreciative I am of this community. Thanks for all your help in helping me plan my cruise(s). I am afraid this site has turned into an addiction, as I have to keep checking it throughout the day. Thanks so much again and let's keep this going. :):)

I'm glad that CC has been able to help you so much and that you had a great cruise. Even though I've been on CC for several years, I'm still learning something new every day. And you're right about it being an addiction. :)

How do you know your addicted

0. Cruiscritic is your main entertainment

1. You get up in the middle of the night to check out the boards

2. Its the first thing in the morning you check.

3. You hit the "reload" button every 5 seconds.

4. When your say "just one more post, honey" and turnes into much longer.

5. You get nurvous ticks when you are away from the boards too long

6. Do you regale your co-workers and friends with what's online

7. Do you LOL at work and everyone turnes their head.

Since I can only associate with 7 out of the eight, guess I'm not addicted, thank goodness! ;)

Hi I feel the same about CC. I am hooked. Maybe now you can help me. I just booked cabin E730 on Crown. I have a Princess book that shows the diagram for Crown, Caribbean & Ruby as the same. It does not show a larger balcony but on these boards I have heard it has one. Princess rep told me the diagrams do not show extended balcony and their diagrams are correct per her help desk:confused: I am so confused. Where did you get your information? I have seen photos of E730 but it is of the Caribbean Princess. I did book the cabin but would choose another one if it does not have a larger balcony because of the location over Club Fusion.

Everything I have read online states that the mini-suites, cabins E730 and E731 on the Crown and Emerald Princess are identical to those of the Caribbean. I have heard about it on this forum and elsewhere online. I can't do the search on this site since it has been down. I went online for you and found these pictures of the Crown. I tried my best to point arrows at the cabin from the outside of the ship. You can tell that balcony is larger. None of the Princess diagrams show this. Last month, I was on the CB in mini-suite 729. Mini-suite 731 was right next to me and had the larger curved balcony that you have seen online. If you look at a diagram of the CB, you will not see an extended balcony either.

I loved the location of these mini-suites. The longest walk was to the theater or casino. It was a good location for the buffet and aft pools. I never heard any noise from Club Fusion, but I did stay up very late. I thought the rooms seemed soundproof. I will be on the opposite side on the Ruby right above the stage next year, but I am not too concerned as there are speakers on both sides and I heard nothing on the CB. Some have complained about hearing a little bass, but nothing too terrible. Hope this helps.

Thanks so much for the pictures and your help. I too have researched this CC site and have read about Crown 730 being the same as the Caribbean Princess. I guess I just needed to reassure myself by seeing actual pictures of Crown. It sure would have been helpful in Princess would educate its employees about the individual ships and update their diagrams. Thanks again.

I am really glad that CC is helping you. Like you I lurked for two years before I joined so I have been around here a few years, but you know I am still learning different things each and every day.

Not to sound negative about any other boards...but I would like to thank the people on this board for all of their positive responses and feedback.

It seems as though the people on the Princess board are much nicer and friendlier than those on another board that I used in the past (you can tell which board that is by my previous sailings).

I don't feel like I'm going to have someone jump down my throat for asking an incorrect question or something that I should have known even though I've only sailed twice.

Thanks again...
