2CBEDDY Posted April 2, 2008 #1 Share Posted April 2, 2008 We are flying to our port the day of the cruise, as we got an amazing price on our airline tickets for flying on Sunday....Has anyone ever missed the boat by doing this...I am starting to get nervous that we made a mistake! bluefintuna Posted April 2, 2008 #2 Share Posted April 2, 2008 It all depends on weather, arrival time and is it a connecting flight? Please give us more info.
KC_fn Posted April 2, 2008 #3 Share Posted April 2, 2008 Rare, but it has happened. They will not wait for you if your flight is delayed. Keep your fingers crossed.

KC_fn Posted April 4, 2008 #11 Share Posted April 4, 2008 2CBEDDY: Try posting your question over in the Cruise Air forum, under Cruise Discussion Topics. There are some very knowledgeable folks over there who can help you set up a Plan B, in case there are any delays or problems (things like getting onto alternate flights, etc.) Good luck to you, and enjoy your cruise! brucory Posted April 5, 2008 #12 Share Posted April 5, 2008 That does sound risky, but it will make it exciting. How long do you have in transit? That could make all the difference! Some airlines allow minimum times of less than an hour which seems like a very risky option if you are meeting a cruise ship.... :D :D :D
Fredr Posted April 5, 2008 #13 Share Posted April 5, 2008 Hello, There is an excellent website called FLIGHTSTATS that will provide you will lots of information about airports all over the world. Do some research about connections between Memphis and San Juan so that you have a plan B to use if you miss your connecting flight. Hope that this helps.
