Yes, you can reserve in advance of sailing.

 

There is no longer a reduced price for embarkation night. It is $30 per person.......and worth it IMO :)

Oh hey, btw, one thing we have both noticed in the Daily Program is that the PG is open daily from 5:00-5:30 pm (one half hour?) at a cost of $20 pp. Haven’t been able to find out what that is all about. Does anyone know?

 

I imagine this means if you get there and get started before 5:30p, not finish in just 1/2 hour.

Wonder if that special $20 dinner/time was because there were so few booking the Pinnacle???

 

JMO -- we also feel that it well worth the money -- we spent $160 the other night to have a cocktail each, appetizer, salad, entree, side dishes and dessert.

Although I did not eat at the PG last month on my Westerndam cruise, I still got charged $60 for a dinner there. FORGOT TO CHECK MY PRELIMINARY STATEMENT! Some lucky couple received a free dinner on me, oh joy!

I wonder if that is all ships or something they are experimenting with on Maasdam. First we've heard of it from anyone but I do recall him including that in his 'Live from Aboard' thread.

Sail, if its available on the Ryndam I'll post when we get back in May. Of course, after we get off it begins its Alaska run, so it may be completely different again.

The food is delish!! The service is fantastic!! The atmosphere is elegant. To me the price is minimal. I loved it so much on the night I ate dinner there (thanks to my colleagues at work) that I booked it for lunch the following day. Great both times. Dinner $30 per person, lunch $15 per person and both well worth it.
