jpurdy Posted April 25, 2008 #6 Share Posted April 25, 2008 Won the jackpot for penny slots for 130.00 dollars. I think it was a cruise... Are there penny slots on cruises? Maybe I'm wrong and it was somewhere else!

LetsSailAway Posted April 25, 2008 #14 Share Posted April 25, 2008 Someone (not me darn-it!) won $10,000 on my Miracle cruise a few months ago. I don't know what machine it was on or how much he played on that spin, but I heard he hadn't been playing it long when he hit. And this was on a sea day at the beginning of the cruise! NCTribeFan Posted April 26, 2008 #17 Share Posted April 26, 2008 Won $500 on a Red, White & Blue slot machine on my first cruise on Jubilee. Of course, I was alternating playing one quarter, then 2, then 1, etc. Naturally, I hit on the 1 quarter. If it had been the pull before, it would've been $2,000. Still nice win for that inexpensive cruise. In December, I was up about $100 on the last night. I had "replaced" my other spending money, and went to the casino one last time. Oh, and I'd had quite a lot of wine. You see I "had" to finish that bottle that I had in the dining room, and I had those drink coupons that were unused. ;) Was playing the quarter Wheel of Fortune and was up about $150, so I moved over to the center $1 machine because I just knew I was going to win. Cashed out with $899. :D My gambling budget is $50/day. If I lose that, I stop. If I win, I replace my previous losses. Anything above that goes into the bank when I get home to cover my S&S charges. In this case, the extra went straight into my Glory cruise fund.
funat55 Posted April 26, 2008 #18 Share Posted April 26, 2008 Me, nothing. But last year on the Carnival Freedom, my sister won just a little over $17,000 over the 12 day cruise. Each jackpot was on quarter poker and the largest was $8,000.00 and several smaller jackpots. Her winnings were reported but they didn't take any taxes out.
