Restaurants near Sheraton Old San Juan

We are a large group going to San Juan a day early for cruise. Staying at the Sheraton Old San Juan. Can anyone recommend inexpensive restaurants near the hotel? Thanks in advance.

Right across the narrow street from the entrance to the Sheraton OSJ, on the corner is a restaurant called Mufungo's(sp).

 

Food was very good, and relatively inexpensive.

On the street behind the Sheraton "Recinto Sur" there are loads of great places. All types of food and price ranges.

Places post their menus in front, so you can check each one out before deciding.

 

I went to Mofongo's for lunch and it was good and the price was good too!

Visit "La Bombonera". A local trademark for a century. Good food, decent prices, within walking distance.

Mufango's:D I have been there a few times. The guys who

run the place are great:) and yes, you just walk out the Sheraton

Doors...go across and ta da...there is the restaurant!
