Sultan84 Posted May 30, 2008 #3 Share Posted May 30, 2008 Easy choice : GRAHAM SEYMOUR does anyone know if he is stil with RCI and if yes, which ship? The only thing I regret about cruising with him is not having bought his DVD. We really enjoyed the entertainment and even my husband made the effort to be awake for the "very scary morning show". johnjen Posted May 30, 2008 #4 Share Posted May 30, 2008 Hands down, such an easy choice, his name was Warren....we had him on our first cruise (Grandeur) and then again on Empress on our third. I forget his last name, but on our Empress cruise, I wrote a positive letter to RCL telling them that we appreciated the guy for all that he did. During a real fire onboard, we watched him climb stairs (faster than anyone I've seen go up stairs before) to the scene to assist....he was always the center of attention, was always there and working around the ship. I have never seen anyone so actively involved in practically everything. This guy is dedicated.....you can't miss him!
hazz24 Posted May 30, 2008 #5 Share Posted May 30, 2008 My vote is for Allen Brooks. He made me laugh so hard for the entire 12 days on Explorer last December.

negc Posted May 30, 2008 #8 Share Posted May 30, 2008 It is a close call between Clo O'Connor and Bobby Brown, but we have had any number of good CDs. Most have been at least acceptable and only a few that I felt were irritating. Their duties extend well beyond appearing onstage every evening to introduce the entertainers or to take part in some of the audience participation activities, so judging them solely on their stage presence or apparent rapport with the guests is probably unfair. :)

cot427 Posted May 30, 2008 #14 Share Posted May 30, 2008 Another vote for Richard Spacey. He was the best CD I've ever had, the funniest, most entertaining. As far as the worst, my vote would be Grahamn Seymour, he wasn't funny, he was rude and annoying.
Kanukkacruise Posted May 30, 2008 #15 Share Posted May 30, 2008 Does ;anyone have any information on Peter Benfield? He was superb! We were told he was writing a book. Did he retire or just taking a few years off to publish?

wingnutphl Posted May 30, 2008 #17 Share Posted May 30, 2008 Honestly, I don't think I've ever had a bad CD on RCI. But for me it's a toss up between Marc Walker and Dennis Sciortino.
glgolfer Posted May 30, 2008 #18 Share Posted May 30, 2008 Of the ones we have had as CDs: Ken Rush, Bobby Brown, James Andrews Top tier Graham Seymour, Dan Whitney 2nd tier Karen Mayberry, Gordon Whatman Bottom We've had many others, but none memorable enough to remember. Have not had Clo, Becky or Sapcey. Probably the best, now retired: Jeffrey Arpin

critterchick Posted May 30, 2008 #24 Share Posted May 30, 2008 Bobby Brown. He has a great dry wit and isn't loud and annoying like so many of them can be. I also like Marc Walker (who went from annoying beyond all belief to downright likeable over a year), Keith Williams (also pretty low key) and one on the Monarch whose name I have forgotten, from last April.
