The one that has dances from around the world is called DANCE.... I was actually a dancer with princess for 6 years and this was one of my favorites shows to perform. I think this show recieved the best reviews from the passengers as well... they always loved it.

It's no longer in production but my alltime favorite was "Rhythms of the City"

I believe it was the longest running show Princess had, sure wish they would bring it back.

ok, I have to ask - do they lip sync their songs? If so who actually does the singing? Most of the time it seemed like they were lip syncing.

Have to agree . . . that was my favorite as well.

IMO, Piano Man is the only production show that was thoroughly enjoyable, tuneful, well staged and well designed. The only show I went to see twice.

I just saw Do you want to dance- it was decent but not as good as Piano man. I'm thinking Piano Man is being retired, we didnt see it on the 12 day recent cruise we took

On the recent Grand Princess cruise, the best shows were the guest artists- Beatlemaniacs brought down the house and a female singer did a nice job. Comedian fairly good as well.

On other cruises the best show was the comedian- we had Sarge a few times

I second that - Piano Man was one of my favorites. I was sad when they retired it but I understand people like to see new shows.

On a recent (5/19-5/29) 10-day repositioning cruise on Tahitian, we had four shows.

Cinematastic (my favorite)

Gotta Sing, Gotta Dance

Ports of Call

Motor City

Do all ships perform the same shows ate the same time? How many different shows, casts, are performed on a World cruise over a 100 days in length?

We saw "Do You Wanna Dance?" (which I think is what previous posters meant by "Dance") on the Island a couple weeks ago. It was very good and I highly recommend it. Lot of energy, upbeat music, strong dancers, and good singers -- especially one woman named Leilani something (her last name has slipped my mind). She was so good she should have had her own solo show with a small jazz combo every night in Crooners.

"Piano Man" was good also, as was "Motor City".

If you're on the Island, make sure you hear Leilani sing.

"Piano Man" is alive and well -- saw it on the Island Princess a couple of weeks ago. Also enjoyed "Do You Wanna Dance". I have to second the comments about Leilani Marrell -- she has a great voice and stage presence. The other production show was "Motor City" - I didn't see it so can't comment.

I saw Rhythms of the City during the first week that they went live with it. It was awful - terribly awful. So much so that I never went back to see it again. It sounds like it did get better!

There was one that I saw awhile ago where they changed clothing on the stage - that was pretty bad also. Most of the others, I have thought had been good.

I could watch Piano Man a million times.

I've seen "Piano Man" twice - and "listened" to it while DH and I were playing Scrabble one afternoon outside the Princess Theatre. This is among the best shows we've seen on Princess.

We also enjoyed a smaller caberet-type show in the Vista Lounge aboard the Dawn. Senior moment in recalling the exact title of the show, but it was something like "... Magnifique".

Another vote for Piano Man. I have been known to sit through it twice in a single cruise, and four times in B2B cruises. Not only do I love the music, I think some of the costumes and dances are extremely creative.

But, saying that, I have enjoyed every production show I've seen on Princess. I know others say that they don't enjoy the shows, production shows in particular, and I think that is what makes cruising such a great vacation...something for almost everyone. Production shows are the single biggest part of our on ship entertainment and we wouldn't think of missing one.
