Casino Hours

Recommended Posts

Hi all...

We are headed out on Mariner in September. The compass shows the Casino being open from 5:30 to "late". Just wondering what "late" translated to in terms of real time... :D

Thanks in advance,

Rob

Most of the Casinos seem to close between 2 and 3 am. If its really busy I have seen them stay open later. I hate when they stay open later because I'm really tired the next day. I am one of those last call guys or 3 more hands in this case.

On our cruise last month, the casino closed by 2:00 AM. I was told that our cruise didn't have many gamblers, so they were closing earlier than on other cruises. The one before ours apparently had more gamblers, so they stayed open way into the wee hours of the morning.

we sailed the mariner in may, every night they were closed by 2am. sad...they give the warning over the speaker..casino will close in 30 min..no kidding, i have never seen a casino close as early as on this ship, we play tables and slots, i cant believe they made people leave, the tables had quite a few people. espically craps and blackjack..it sucked.

If I remember correctly, once they are within a few miles of a port/land they have to close the casino's. So I'd imagine instead of trying to constantly figure out where they are, they just make it 2 a.m every night. Plus I've been told this is why they may go a few miles north, when the next island may be due east. This way they start taking your donations sooner.;)
