jaja Posted June 21, 2008 #1 Share Posted June 21, 2008 just wondering if anyone knows how to minimize glare on LCD screen (no view finder).. I love this camera but wind up "shooting blind" when in the sun or underwater....either I can't see anthings or it acts as a mirror.. Is there something I can do? thanks

snowbird1 Posted June 26, 2008 #4 Share Posted June 26, 2008 Try here: http://www.delkin.com/products/popupshades/mini/ Dave Actually I was at Walmart the other night and noticed they seem to be selling almost the exact thing in the camera Dept of the Superstore near my house and the price was about 1/2 of the price listed. They were sold by the size of the screen not by the exact camera so you would need to know the dimensions of you screen. Just a thought and I am not by any means recommending them. Rare Essiesmom Posted July 18, 2008 #7 Share Posted July 18, 2008 I have the Belkin screen, and have not found it to be much of an improvement. That's why I won't buy a camera for outdoor use that does not have an EVF (electronic viewfinder) as well as the LCD screen. EM

concour Posted July 21, 2008 #9 Share Posted July 21, 2008 I had one of the shields and found it very flimsy and would pop off very easily. We were always looking for the shield. Good news is that the part with the adhesive is a very good protector for the screen.:)
