Rare silentbob007 Posted June 22, 2008 #2 Share Posted June 22, 2008 On some ships, there is a section where there is a curvature on the superstructure of the ship ... hump cabins are the cabins on that curved section which jut out a bit from the ship. ondeckatsea Posted June 22, 2008 #3 Share Posted June 22, 2008 On Royal Caribbean ships there is a bulge on the opposite side of the ship from the elevators (the ones with the view of the sea) It is called a hump cabin because when you are on the balcony you are on the bulge of the ship and see forward and aft. It's also a popular location because of it's central location.

mommyof2monkeys+princess Posted June 22, 2008 Author #7 Share Posted June 22, 2008 LOL! thanks for the definition. Regardless of position of the ship our cabin was definitely the latter definition LOL :D Hopefully the walls are not too thin I noticed the day of disembarking it was a couple with two kids in the next cabin :o :p Tammy

Busy I hope. ;) I don't know who first posted this Mariner picture, but I always add that 1620 is the Royal Suite and not the Owners Suite. They labeled it wrong and I do not know how to change it on the picture. :D
fl-raybee Posted June 22, 2008 #11 Share Posted June 22, 2008 Question in title  ;) Tammy I always get the hump cabins on Voyager And Freedom Class Ships. I like looking down the side of the ship and being next to the elevators. Ray
