Rare Cruise Junky Posted August 6, 2008 #3 Share Posted August 6, 2008 If you're sailing out of Vancouver, Vancouver airport is not where you go through US customs. You will clear US immigration before boarding the ship. If you're flying up here, you'll go through Canadian Customs and Immigration at the airport. GramaFran Posted August 6, 2008 Author #4 Share Posted August 6, 2008 Thank you Colo cruiser and Cruise Junky for your answers - I think I got it. We clear CA customs/immigration at YVR and US customs/immigration at the dock when boarding. That works for us. If we want to go only one night to specialty restaurant Which is best? Bayou or Sabatini's???? thanks, Francine

It is a whole lot of food and can take 2-3 hours however you can skip some courses and have them bring them at a quicker pace if you wish. The Bayou has some killer Surf/Turf. Try both. :D

GramaFran Posted August 6, 2008 Author #8 Share Posted August 6, 2008 There is a roll call for your cruise - So far we have 12 CC'ers either boarding in Vancouver all the way to Ft. Lauderdale or boarding in LA. Join our roll call. Francine
whale-watcher Posted August 6, 2008 #9 Share Posted August 6, 2008 If you are flying in the day of the cruise, you should see if you qualify for the US Direct program, so you can bypass all the long lines for customs and immigration both at YVR airport and when boarding the ship (you would need to purchase a transfer from princess to use this program): http://www.portvancouver.com/vanAlaCruise/content/travelAgents/usDirect.html
