spammie Posted August 6, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 6, 2008 Hi. Planning ahead for our cruise next May. There will be 4 of us plus all our luggage. There is no way it will fit in our vehicle so parking at the airport is out. Just wondering if anyone in the Philly area knows of any limo companies etc. who offer transportation to the airport. We only live about 20 minutes south of the airport. Thank you.
6rugrats Posted August 6, 2008 #2 Share Posted August 6, 2008 I don't live there, so can't provide any specific recommendations, but there must be many. Do a google search and I'm sure you will pull dozens up.
steve20832 Posted August 6, 2008 #3 Share Posted August 6, 2008 Try one of these. http://www.phl.org/ground_transportation.html You could also have someone take you to the airport 23 hours in advance of your flight and rent a SUV or minivan for a day. marie k Posted August 6, 2008 #4 Share Posted August 6, 2008 I live in the Philly suburbs and have used King Limo for years. They are always on time, very good drivers, never had a problem. They have limos,Towne cars, and vans. They are located in King of Prussia. Hope this helps.
Katie H Posted August 6, 2008 #5 Share Posted August 6, 2008 We have used Dave's Best Limo when flying out of Philly or cruising out of Bayonne.
Rare FlyerTalker Posted August 6, 2008 #6 Share Posted August 6, 2008 Something that can work out, depending on specific economics: Rent a large vehicle, either an SUV or van, and drop it off at the airport. Then, on your return, do the same thing to go home. Check with Hertz and Avis for their local offices that may be near your home. Crunch the numbers and see if it's a deal. I mention the SUV since you talk about 4 people and luggage. It can even be cost effective vs parking for a standard car for 2 people. For us, sometimes it's right to drive and park, sometimes to rent, sometimes to take airporter shuttle. Just run the numbers for the dates and see what comes up.
