Smoking allowed in casino?

Can anyone tell me if the casino is one of the places on the Journey where people can smoke?

There are only 2 places on the ship where one can smoke and the casino in not one of them. One is a corner on the deck where the pool is and the other is on one side of one of the bars. Both can easily be avoided.:D

This leads to a very different experience in the Casino; you can actually see the machines as well as breathe.

That's both good and bad news for me. Good, because I don't smoke. Bad because my mother-in-law likes to take us on cruises and she's a smoker! This would probably be a deal breaker for her. In fact, this may be the end of her cruising days since I just found out from a TA that ALL cruise lines are now disallowing smoking in stateroms and verandahs since the fire on Princess.

SJDE:Cunard still allows smoking almost anywhere on the ship except eating venues. I believe some of the other mass market lines also allow smoking freely all over the place. There was an article on CC a few month

ago which had a list of the smoking police on all the lines.
