We have always been lucky to go to Vila on every cruise and we have been to Mystery Island and Isle of Pines enough. (supposed to go to rotuma island years ago, but the locals said no to our ship..) vava'u, nukualofa, and cruised around niuafo'ou.......all Tonga poum-emerald bay, hieghene,isle of pines,lifou,ouvea,noumea.....all New Caledonia. vila, luganville,mystery island, champagne bay, pentecost island., wala.....all Vanuatu. pago pago.....American Samoa. apia.....Western Samoa. they are the south pacific ones... kind regards, Lorraine:) :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

We've been to: Pentecost Luganville Vila - 4 times Noumea - 3 times Wala - twice Mystery Island - 3 times Isle of Pines - twice Yasawa-i-Rara Dravuni Island Suva Loved them all, especially Pentecost and Wala. Where is the great snorkelling in Luganville, Molly Doble? We went there on our first cruise when we knew nothing. :p We just looked around the town in the morning and Phil did the WWII tour in the afternoon while I stayed on the ship. Who's sailing the more obscure island waters? In Fiji or some of the others off the beaten track- where did you find the best snorkeling? This was a really interesting thread. Thanks for starting it.
