Yep....a tidy sum to be sure....but as RCCL is also part owner of SkySea, I guess it's a good deal of money flowing ''in house''....

Any time to meet up upon disembarking Millie in Vancouver ?...or are you flying straight home that day ?

p.s; I still think it wouldn't take 5 years to get a typical Chinese crew member acclimatized to the business.....the way they adjust to all sorts of jobs all over the world.

This is correct (confirmed last night). It will happen before the crossing. But I think after this cruise.

I was also told after a year or so Century staff would rotate out in groups to go to The Edge Project. Remember staff boards a new ship long before completion and it will be assigned a captain for a year in advance of its first sailing. That captain seems to have been assigned but I'm starting no rumors about staff that have not been officially announced. Another diner also asked the captain last night about other Edge details which were interesting. Sounds like some changes to tradition for sure.

On another forum, people were trying to figure out who the ship naturalists would be and there did not seem to be any easy way to find that out, so I started thinking that would be good info to have on your "Who's On Board" chart as well.

 

Would you consider adding another row for the name of the ship's naturalist or lecturer, when there is one who stays on board for the entire cruise, (not someone who just hops on and off for a day or two)?

This is correct, sorry for the delayed confirmation. Taos Lekkas is the new Summit Captain until Leo is back.

Lionel left Connie, perhaps on vacation now.

 

It's easy to add party bands or lecturers. It's tough getting cruisers to report back who is on board.

Senior officers are listed in a hand out on each voyage. Other information comes from dailies and few people post them.

Arno, Host Andy is on Equinox now and he likely will be providing updates. We are on the Equinox for a b2b starting a week from today (starting on cruise after Andy's cruise), so if there are any changes from Andy's cruise, I can provide the updates including the entertainment.

 

I really appreciate all you are doing to keep the chart as up-to-date as possible and know it can be a difficult task to do so when people do not report during their cruises or upon their return.

BTW, the Miami DJ's are onboard this sailing. Great news... if you enjoy having headaches :)

We have just returned from an amazing cruise on the Solstice from Sydney too Hawaii. Whilst on board my husband became friends with Richard Green the Exec Chef but forgot to get his email address. Is there anyway of contacting him?
