crusinmama06 Posted December 13, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 13, 2008 My kids take a gameboy and a Nintendo DS for the flights. I also bought them each their own DVD player for long trips but a lap top would work too. ;) On the ship itself....the electronics are put away. There are too many things to do. :D

crusinmama06 Posted December 13, 2008 #4 Share Posted December 13, 2008 How long is the cruise? Is this the "Around the Horn" cruise?
cb at sea Posted December 14, 2008 #5 Share Posted December 14, 2008 There's no way they'll be "bored" on the ship. If they are, this would be their last cruise!!!! Kids have a way of finding things to amuse them....especially if the electronic doodads aren't there!
Rare Keith1010 Posted December 14, 2008 #6 Share Posted December 14, 2008 It's rare that I have heard of children, any ages, including the ages of your children be bored on a cruise ship. Like their parents, when the cruise comes to an end they normally wish they could stay another few days. Keith
oavcech95 Posted December 14, 2008 Author #7 Share Posted December 14, 2008 Well this is the second cruise with kids, but the other was like 5 years ago, so they grow up, but I also think they will never be bored. Cruisinmama: Yes is the around the horn 2 weeks, from Chile to BA, and in 3 days Im going to Chile!!!!, But the flight is 8 hours so they have gone to Europe in flights of 12 hours but in that you sleep, ex: you go at 9:00p.m. and you arrived like 6 a.m. of you and 2 p.m. of Europe. And in this is going at 1:00 p.m. plus the 8 hours: 9: p.m. plus the 3 hours of difference we will arrive at 1:00 a.m. of Chile, so I dont think so my kids will like to sleep a lot in the flight I hope but I will take movies and a laptop.
