century on board temperature

Often, the temperature on board in the public rooms are freezing. We are leaving tomorrow for a few days in the Caribbean.

Can anyone clue me in as to how cold the dining room and lounge areas are?

Thanks!

Just got back from a 5-day aboard Century and as Keith1010 stated, each person's temperature preference is different. This past cruise, the main dining room was cool some nights and warm others. I would suggest taking a wrap or sweater just in case.

There were air conditioning issues aboard and our cabin, as well as the entire section of our deck, was really hot for the entire cruise even though the thermostat was set on 60 degrees. We booked an outside but had to leave the shade down so the sun wouldn't make it any warmer. Also, had to turn on the overhead lights only briefly to select change of clothes and then turn them off to dress to keep the temperature down in the cabin. Forget warm showers - didn't need them! icon12.gif

Everyone from Room Steward to Captain's Club to Guest Relations were trying to help us and our neighbors get some cool air but it was still overly warm when we left this morning (we were told the cruise was sold out so no other cabins available).

They said this was the first cruise back from Europe and they hadn't used the a/c in a while to know whether or not it was working properly but - after five days of trying, you would hope they could fix anything!
