2009 Carnival Platinum Gift...

I am hoping that since some of you Carnival cruisers are back from vacation, you can let us know if the Platinum guests are getting a new gift for 2009. I received the tote bag in 2007 and the thermos in 2008, and am wondering what is being given out in 2009. I can't wait 'til my next cruise in April!

Just back from the 12/27 to 1/3 sailing on the Splendor and I am sad to say that it is still the thermos!!

 

We just end up leaving them in the room - we have enought of them and plus they sort of leak!

We got off the cruise on Jan. 2nd and I got the Thermos. Maybe they aren't changing yet??

I'm expecting we'll end up with at least 8 more Thermos' this year.....sure wish they'd give something else!

I have the bag, and 2 thermos', and my first platinum cruise isn't until later this year :p Pays to have friends that are tired of getting the same gifts over and over again :p LOL!! I LOOOVE the thermos though...

3 weeks ago it was still the thermos....but that was still 2008:p

Returned from the Ecstasy New Years Cruise on 1-1-09 and it's the silver thermos.

No complaints, it didn't cost me anything and if I don't need it I can always give it as a cruise gift to a friend or family member. :)

We like the thermos and have never had a problem with them leaking. My husband is a sailboat Captain and loves to take moch lattes for early morning sails in them!:D

Two words...."Priority Embarkation"...only perk we need to go for Platinum; however, in the end...any and all perks would be great...but the embarkation thing is the best to us!

Just got off the Elation this morning. We departed 01/01/09, so officially 2009, and I have two more thermos.

 

Going to give them away at my Superbowl Party.

The thermos is a lot better than I thought it would be...It holds about two cups and if you pre-heat it with hot water from the sink before you use it it does a great job keeping coffee hot....It looks like we will get 4 more in a couple of weeks......:).......Dennis

I also love the thermos and have never had a leaking problem :) ... Make my coffee every morning and find that it is still hot hours later BUT... enough is enough... I don't need/want anymore... Please change the gift prior to my March 29th Valor sailing........... PLEEEEEEEEEEEASE !!!

 

I know we had a thread on this a couple of months ago and I even called Customer Service and gave them a suggested list so hopefully they are working on changing the gift. I was told that it would be something with the Carnival name/logo on it like the tote bag and thermos both have/had... We'll just have to wait and see... Better sooner than later..
