Suite Amenities?

Can anyone expound on Suite amenities besides larger cabin and veranda on Veendam? I did read their book but besides towels, robes, larger room and free laundry, not sure what else is involved.

Any cc's with info gratefullly appreciated!

All PS, SA, SB and SC categories:

Separate check-in line at embarkation

 

Personalized stationary

 

Use of the Neptune Lounge and the concierges

 

Boutonniere and corsage for the first formal night

 

Free laundry, free pressing, free dry cleaning

 

Priority tendering

 

Priority disembarkation

 

Free use of binoculars

 

Free use of a large umbrella

 

MAYBE a private suite cocktail party in the Neptune Lounge

 

MAYBE an invitation to a VIP party

 

Maybe a suite buffet or sit down lunch -- depends on itinerary and HM/Captain

 

Free bottle of champagne compliments of the HM and captain

Breakfast in the Pinnacle or King’s Room (depends on the ship)

Free DVD use

On the Veendam I believe the above-mentioned perks only are in the S and Penthouse categories.

The Veendam doesn't have SA, SB, SC. They just have S. So, any penthouse or category S, SA, SB or SC would be considered a suite. Categories SS, SY & SZ are also not on the Veendam, and they're considered like a mini-suite, but without any suite perks.

I'd just add to what the others have said...

 

The concierge service in the Neptune Lounge is very comprehensive. They take care of nearly any arrangement or problem you might encounter. They helped us replace a poorly sized tux jacket at the last minute, settled our bill, arranged for in-suite parties. Just totally exceptional service. A wonderful perk.
