Is the hotel clean? What kind of breakfast do they serve? Thanks cheryl

Bequia Posted January 31, 2009 #3 Share Posted January 31, 2009 Using this boards "search" feature, over 250 threads came up with discussion about the LaQuinta Inn & Suites in Hollywood. All comments from CC posters were positive. It's 10 minutes from the airport, 15 minutes from the cruiseport. The hotel is clean, the area is safe. There's a K-Mart and a BJ's nearby to purchase liquor. A few results of the "search": http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=912827&highlight=laquinta http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=909889&highlight=laquinta http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=904899&highlight=laquinta http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=903662&highlight=laquinta http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=890523&highlight=laquinta http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=889530&highlight=laquinta http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=888774&highlight=laquinta http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=838711&highlight=laquinta http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=880928&highlight=laquinta http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=871431&highlight=laquinta /////

chrysalis Posted February 1, 2009 #6 Share Posted February 1, 2009 stayed there last year...it was OK....the food was all gone by the time we went down for breakfast. only one elevator, so it full of cruisers, plan your time properly so you can get your luggage down to the lobby...everyone else is trying to do that same thing at the same time. We just took a cab to the port....way too many people trying to do the free shuttle...not worth the hassle and time
cruiser429 Posted February 1, 2009 #7 Share Posted February 1, 2009 And when we did it last March, it was well organized and very easy. And there was plenty of breakfast. I guess it depends what time of year you are traveling. Holiday season is busy at all hotels.
