SusieV Posted November 18, 2004 #1 Share Posted November 18, 2004 We were scheduled to be in 8148 but our TA called and said she had us moved to 6135 since it's got a bigger balcony. I see that it's a connecting room to the neighbouring RS. Is this going to be a problem? Can anyone share their experiences of this room? Would you prefer it over a "regular" 1A? ecowen Posted November 18, 2004 #2 Share Posted November 18, 2004 It's a fabulous cabin! It's a few feet wider than other 1A's, with a lovely teak wood balcony that is 3 times deeper. It's a great location, nestled in with the suites, where it is quiet and the service the best on the ship. Grab it!:D
SusieV Posted November 18, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted November 18, 2004 Thanks for the review! My fiance worried that we might not be treated as well since we're right next to all the suites. So the connecting room won't be an issue?
ecowen Posted November 18, 2004 #4 Share Posted November 18, 2004 In fact, you'll be treated BETTER, since the butler will be hanging around your cabin all day. You might even be able to slip him some $$$ and get suite services (ie, afternoon snacks and pre-dinner appetizers).:p Regarding the ajoining cabin. . .it wouldn't bother me. The only drawback is that you don't get a loveseat couch (it would block the door) and there is a slightly higher risk of noise. So bring earplugs if you're worried about that, and enjoy a grate cabin!:)

SusieV Posted November 20, 2004 Author #6 Share Posted November 20, 2004 Sounds great; we're really looking forward to having the larger balcony! Wonder if I can get mimosas through room service?
