Smart casual- dresses?

I like to waer dresses to dinner..... From sundresses to something a little mroe dressy. Will I stand out too much?

 

I think being on a cruise or a really nice vacation gives us the chance to get all prettied up, and am very much looking forward to it. I was wondering - do many women wear dresses on non-formal nights? (I mean something a little nicer than a sundress, but not so formal that it would be a formal dress).

Nope--you'll fit in just fine! About 1/3 wear dresses, and the rest are split between nice capris/slacks/skirts.

Good to hear! I'm doing a 7-day in October, and have 3 dresses I'm planning to wear, as well as black dress slacks with a dressy black halter. I, too, like to dress up now and then! I don't have much ocassion to dress at home!

I am planning to bring 3-4 dresses and a couple of skirts for my upcoming cruise. Since I don't really have the "opportunity" to dress much for dinner in my real life, I enjoy doing it on vacay.

I like dresses, too, and I wear them on Smart Casual and even Casual nights. You won't stand out, as long as you're not in a cocktail dress or evening gown every night.

I am all about dresses. I am quite comfortable wearing dresses every evening while cruising. I bring a couple casual, a couple cocktail/formal, and a couple in betweeners. :D

i tend only to pack dresses for dinner. but on the last cruise it was a little cool so one pants outfit is going in. i love wearing dresses too.

Great, I have 5 dresses and 2 gowns. One of my dresses is a little sexier, and could be a cocktail dress - it is red and tight.... :-) I will wear that one to Portofinos.

 

I rarely wear dresses at home, so this is a treat.

For formal nights, I wear, well, formal dresses. lol. But on the other nights, I still wear dresses. They are not too fancy, but not too casual either. I never wear dresses in my normal life, so I really like being able to wear them on my cruise:D
