Quest Cat 7 "Obstructed View" Ocean View State Room

Has anyone ever stayed in an AZ "obstructed view" stateroom on deck 6? Wondering how obstructed is obstructed. Looks like there is a deck in front of our windos but it would be easy to get out onto that deck to take pictures.

Anyone have pictures?

I just booked 6032 at an amazing rate for the Best of Italy next year.

Try to get either 6030 or 6033 those are the cabins that are the least obstructed..

Thanks; they are much more obstructed than I thought and there's no deck in front of them SO I've changed my room to another ocean view, #7000.

7000 is a Sunset Verandah cabin at the bow of the ship. You'll have a great view!:)

One other thing to be aware of category 7, obstructed ocean view cabins, is the smaller size... 143 sq. ft. vs. 172 for other OV cabins.

From Azamara's website: "All category 07 staterooms have a panorama window with an obstructed view and are 143 sq. ft."

We were in 6042 on the 2/24 sailing... it was not obstructed in St Johns, Virgin Gorda, or St Barts when the tender was in use :)

But otherwise, it's like having an inside cabin (and choosing between the obstructed outside or larger inside, i know what I'll do next time, haha!
