does carnival offer self disembark? Someone cruising with us booked a 12:15 flight MIA and I was wondering if she will make her flight

Carnival recommends that flights out of Miami be after 11:30am so she should be fine.

Yes, they offer the self-assist program. We did it last year on the Freedom in Miami. We were off of the ship by 8:00am or 8:30am. The only downside was dragging all the luggage through the terminal. :rolleyes:

She'll have HOURS to wait at the airport! That's MORE than doable! There's no need for her to be the 1st off the ship!

With the self debark you should have no problem. For my last cruise I scheduled my return flight for 11:15 and still had over an hour to wait at the gate waiting.

We did not do self-assist and we were called off the ship by 8:30 and on our way to miami airport by 9am. We had a 12:30 flight so we had plenty of time. They sure get everyone off the ship pretty early (I know, they have to get ready for the next sailing!!).
