I don't know if it was Royal Palms we were at several years ago but it was across from the "new" Holiday Inn. There were restrooms there and they were absolutely disguisting...like someone hadn't even touched them all day. We stopped here after our Carnival tour of the island.

Will be in GC July 2 on Conquest and thinking of Sea Grape beach as we did last year. Can anyone confirm the price for chair at Sea Grape? I see a recent poster indicated chairs at $15 each. I don't recall them being that high last year. Many Thanks for any curreent information!

We just stayed on GC for a week, and were in a condo close to the Royal Palms on SMB. I would highly recommend going there. Their stretch of beach is really nice, is a short taxi/bus ride from the pier, and they have a lot of chairs. I would get there as early as you can, especially if there are a lot of ships in on your day there. You can snorkel right off the beach, and if you want to jet ski or do a banana boat, if they don't have it there, you can walk down the beach (to your left if facing the water) about 1/2 mile to Red Sail Sports and do pretty much whatever you want.

Have a great time!
