Why is it there?

That's strange. It is the Ecstasy & it is supposed to sail today. Shouldn't it have left by now? Also, I checked Carnival's itinerary changes for that sailing and they changed it from a 5 day sailing to a 7 day sailing for the next two cruises. Would that be to make up for dropping Cozumel & Progresso for ports and changing to GC & Mo Bay? Did they have to make it a 7 day to make the new ports? Confused....

yes...they had to make it 7 days to get further south. With all the changes, they could be running behind getting everything fixed on board. And if they didn't get into Galveston on time today because of weather, they might be running behind.

FWIW, they also changed the Fantasy's trips to 7 days and canceled the four day cruise.

It's still there. Hmmm, seems really late. Maybe they are having some problems due to the changing of everything. They could be shorthanded at the terminal or something like that because of the odd departure date and they weren't able to get all the workers in, not to mention the food and other stuff they load on the ship while in port. Just guessing.

It was supposed to leave May 2nd but instead of a 5 day getting back on the 7th it is getting back on the 9th. Then the next cruise that was supposed to leave on the 11th will leave on the 9th. I expect it is taking a long time getting ready for the changed cruise, more food etc. There may have been a delay due to fog but I am not sure.

I'm pretty sure that the problem is the camera is not updating... that is the same picture i saw this morning and the time stamp is the same

Actually, the Ecstasy came in early last night instead of this morning, due to a sick passenger. There is a rant thread from a guy on the cruise to nowhere, that came back early to Galveston on top of everything else.

(Id also read at least 3 people mentioning the Ecstasy coming in early last night but didnt know until that other thread why it came in early.)

That is correct. We came in Fri. instead of Sat. due to a sick passenger. We were killing time going slow in the gulf when the CD said we were going full speed ahead and passengers could get off Fri. night.

Of course the casino closed.

Just the perfect ending to everything else.
