dachshunddoglover Posted June 30, 2009 #1 Share Posted June 30, 2009 Can you please remind me which cabin (on Freedom) is the Ben and Jerry's Cow Cabin? I know its a promenade cabin right above the Ice Cream Shop. Thanks and have a great day. E-Beth

Rare John&LaLa Posted June 30, 2009 #4 Share Posted June 30, 2009 do they really give you free ice cream?
chazg Posted June 30, 2009 #5 Share Posted June 30, 2009 do they really give you free ice cream? Yes, you get 1 free Ice Cream treat per day, for each guest in the Sweet.:D
ManOfTheHour Posted June 30, 2009 #6 Share Posted June 30, 2009 Does it cost as much as the cabins right next door with the view of the promenade or do they get it priced as an interior stateroom? I don't think I'd pay the difference for a bad view and an extra $5 ice cream each day...
djhuff Posted June 30, 2009 #7 Share Posted June 30, 2009 We've got it for our January 10 cruise. This is the wife and I's first time in an interior, and we thought it would be fun, with the different decorations and all.

SheilaSailAway Posted June 30, 2009 #11 Share Posted June 30, 2009 Please, pardon the grainy-ness of the pics...they were shot during the pirate parade onboard Liberty...with all the lights flashing, etc. :):D
lovetocruise75 Posted June 30, 2009 #12 Share Posted June 30, 2009 What exactly is this room? Does anyone have any photos? Search Ben & Jerry's suite Royal Caribbean on Youtube.com There are a few videos of the room there. It is decorated in a cow theme with black and white pillows etc.

No. The Voyager class ships do not have a "Moo Sweet", only the three Freedom class ships do.

I don't think I'd pay the difference for a bad view and an extra $5 ice cream each day... You also get the Suite Perks as well, Like 2 concierge keys, Special treats delivered to the cabin, priority seating etc. It is the same cost as any PR Cabin. digital_curator Posted July 1, 2009 #18 Share Posted July 1, 2009 On the Independence, we didn't get treats delivered to our cabin but we did have use of the concierge lounge and other "suite" perks which were outlined in a letter left in our cabin on the first day. We usually book PR cabins anyway and would not hesitate to book the B&J "sweet" again if it was available! Enjoy it!
4bythebeach Posted July 2, 2009 #19 Share Posted July 2, 2009 Did you still get the free Ben & Jerry coupons?
digital_curator Posted July 2, 2009 #20 Share Posted July 2, 2009 It's not exactly individual coupons- it's a sheet with 7 spaces. We took it down on the first day and were told that they would keep it there. I was a little nervous about that but only 2 people worked there and we met them both on the first day. We never actually saw them mark off our stuff either but we each got a treat for every day of the cruise, whatever we wanted (my husband's favourite was the banana split). Not surprisingly, we both gained a lot of weight on this cruise:p
kaykels Posted July 2, 2009 #21 Share Posted July 2, 2009 How hard is it to get one of these cabins? Will they have them on Oasis? OMG they are too cute.
Cruisebaza Posted July 2, 2009 #22 Share Posted July 2, 2009 I was very fortunate to actually find it available in early June for an August cruise this year on Freedom. I was considering several cruises at the time and when I saw it, I grabbed it and made my reservation online. I was surprised to see it available and possibly it was because someone cancelled. We are certainly excited and looking forward to the cruise next month!! Good luck in getting the room!! CB
Rare cruiselvr04 Posted July 2, 2009 #23 Share Posted July 2, 2009 We have it booked for November on Liberty. I told my DH I'll have to lose extra pounds before we go so we can get the free ice cream every day!!
Aquahound Posted July 3, 2009 #24 Share Posted July 3, 2009 How hard is it to get one of these cabins? Will they have them on Oasis? OMG they are too cute. I would image pretty difficult since there are only 3 of these rooms in existence (1 on each Freedom Class ship). I am going to venture to say Oasis will not have one. Oasis will only have 18 PR rooms and none overlook a Ben and Jerry's.
