can't decide what deck/location is a better choice?

Looking at RCCL Mariner of the Seas

Are we better off with deck 7 rm #7650 (closer to the back of the ship) across from inside cabins

OR

Deck 9 rm #9320 more towards the middle of the ship but right across from the elevators and the concierge club

Would the elevator/concierge area be noisy? would we feel more motion on the higher deck?

What would you choose? Thanks

I would take the deck 9 cabin in a heartbeat.

First, it is a center "hump" cabin, which means it's on the portion of the ship that bows out. This makes for a better view, as you will be able to see all the way down fore and aft.

Second, I know it's hard to tell on the deck plan, but the room is separated from the stairs and elevators. Noise is not an issue. From the stairs, you have to enter a side hallway to get to the rooms.

The CL is a non issue. There is very minimal traffic going there.

Thanks so much both of you! I was thinking the mid ship cabin would be a nice one but wanted to double check about the noise possibility.

Just to reassure you, the hump is my favorite room location and I always try to book there. I have never had a hallway noise issue.

Good luck and enjoy your cruise! :)
