Gold Coast Cruisers Posted August 13, 2009 #55 Share Posted August 13, 2009 Does anyone know how to get the countdown clock on Myspace work. Many CCers have it on their threads but I just can't get it to work. It's an excellent Countdown clock. Jillybean:)

Kiwi_cruiser Posted August 15, 2009 #59 Share Posted August 15, 2009 Oh no the damn countdown clocks have disappeared again  What browser are you using?
MargnGrah Posted August 15, 2009 Author #60 Share Posted August 15, 2009 What browser are you using? I don't think it matters what browser you are using. We have IE, Firefox and Opera, and when I couldn't see my countdowns, it was the same on all 3 browsers.:confused: But unlike Cheryl, when mine came back they have stayed... so far
Rare Kinkacruiser Posted August 15, 2009 #61 Share Posted August 15, 2009 Mine was gone again to this morning, Cheryl...so sad. I can only see the non-CC ones. Cheers, Anna

Sandielle Posted August 15, 2009 #63 Share Posted August 15, 2009 Anna, I can still see yours. My DH reckons it's just a 'computer thing' - and we all know computers are full of gremlins!:eek::eek:
Sav'n Gal Posted August 15, 2009 #64 Share Posted August 15, 2009 I believe the problem is the new clock program developed by cruisecritic uses a file extension type ".pl" which is a UNIX program and there is no file type association with microsoft, apple, google or mozilla. I have tried all these and with no success. Including I7 & I8 by Microsoft. The problem belongs to cruisecritic not the individual computers. The ".pl" file type can be added to our file associations if supplied by cruisecritic. In the meantime I have used nauticalcities web site and there countdown clocks work on cruisecritic. Rare Kinkacruiser Posted August 15, 2009 #65 Share Posted August 15, 2009 Thanks for that explanation, Susan. I thought it was a CC glitch. Mine clock is back again this morning, may be switching to another countdown clock if the problem persists. Did the gremlins release yours too, Cheryl?
