rjan67 Posted August 13, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 13, 2009 Just wondering what Carnival allows the kids to bring in the pool. Can they bring dive sticks, just nothing large?
Traveler353 Posted August 13, 2009 #2 Share Posted August 13, 2009 The pools are too small for children to be using much at all. Maybe floaties but that is about it. No rafts or water guns please.

mykiddiewinks Posted August 13, 2009 #7 Share Posted August 13, 2009 When we cruised in April one family had all brought blow up water beds and water noodles - didn't leave much room in the pool for anyone else.
salty dingo Posted August 13, 2009 #8 Share Posted August 13, 2009 You can certainly bring your toys and judge whether to use them by the pool size and crowd factor at the time. Also, you can have fun with them at the beach, where the play area is a bit larger :D.
Guest LoveMyBoxer Posted August 13, 2009 #9 Share Posted August 13, 2009 DS and two friends he met on our Miracle cruise loved to dive for quarters we threw in the pool. However, towards noon, the pool gets crowded, so the diving for quarters ended. If you want to play or dive for anything, make sure you go early before the crowds arrive

kathyemma Posted August 14, 2009 #16 Share Posted August 14, 2009 I always bring dive sticks. if there is room in the pool we use them - if not, we don't. we normally sail on royal - and usually at some point the pool is filled with kids all playing with the sticks. not sure what the pool size difference is on the two lines. kathy

cjackso8 Posted August 14, 2009 #18 Share Posted August 14, 2009 If I had to speculate, I would say the one previous commentor meant his son would swim to the bottom for the quarters, not actually dive in after them. No baby ruths? bummer. ;)
