What is allowed in the pool?

Just wondering what Carnival allows the kids to bring in the pool. Can they bring dive sticks, just nothing large?

The pools are too small for children to be using much at all. Maybe floaties but that is about it. No rafts or water guns please.

When we cruised in April one family had all brought blow up water beds and water noodles - didn't leave much room in the pool for anyone else.

You can certainly bring your toys and judge whether to use them by the pool size and crowd factor at the time.

 

Also, you can have fun with them at the beach, where the play area is a bit larger :D.

DS and two friends he met on our Miracle cruise loved to dive for quarters we threw in the pool. However, towards noon, the pool gets crowded, so the diving for quarters ended. If you want to play or dive for anything, make sure you go early before the crowds arrive

Seriously, someone said something about diving? Good gosh! You can't dive in those pools!!!!! They're VERY shallow!!!!!

I always bring dive sticks. if there is room in the pool we use them - if not, we don't. we normally sail on royal - and usually at some point the pool is filled with kids all playing with the sticks. not sure what the pool size difference is on the two lines.

If I had to speculate, I would say the one previous commentor meant his son would swim to the bottom for the quarters, not actually dive in after them.
