Princess: Chaise Lounge Reservations

We get e-mails from Princess, as well as RCI. I guess their new outdoor movie theater is going to show features during the day and into the evening. What I think is funny/interesting about this concept, is that they will offer:

"Complimentary chaise lounge reservations, special movie theme cocktails and casual dining will be offered to round out the ultimate poolside experience."

No more bothering with towels or magazines to save chairs poolside. Do you think they will issue little foldup signs that say "Reserved" on them? [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif[/img]

I had another thought..If you put numbers on the chaise lounges, they could be assigned for the week on your Seapass account or the Princess equivalent [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif[/img]

I think that a chair reservation system would be a great idea on all ships. I have been on five different ships and it has always been hard to get a chair by the pool. If the cruise lines would put a "Pool Chair Steward" on board, it would go over great. All you would have to do is call this person and let them know how many chairs, what deck and what time you would want them. I would bet that most people would rather tip for a pool chair than for a Head Waiter that you never see! [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]
