11:50 am Return Flight

We are looking at booking our return flight at 11:50 am in Fort Lauderdale. We will be on the Crown Princess. Does this give us enough time to get of the ship and to the airport?

If everything goes as planed you will. We made an 11 am flight when we cruised Crown Princess. Just do self disembark.

Thanks, we don' want to carry off our luggage, though. How long is it from the port to the airport? We are going to prearrange transportation.

The port and the airport are very close. A ten minute drive at the most.

We have always been at the airport by 9:30. We have never done the self debarkment.

I don't think you will have any problem unless the ship was late.

It's 5-10 minutes from Port Everglades to FLL. Get in one of the first groups to get off and you shouldn't have a problem unless there are baggage handling issues, or Customs & Immigration delays. There will be plenty of taxis, just grab one when you leave the terminal.

I see your on the Crown the same time we are in April. We have a flight leaving at 12:10 PM - how long were the lines when you arrive at FLL. Do you think we will get a good number for leaving the ship early enough? We're not interested in taking our luggage off.:eek:

We always book the 11:10 flight home and we never leave the ship very early. It's only a 10 minute cab ride - no problem
