International Cafe on Golden?

Did the Golden get an International Cafe when it was drydocked? We are also wondering if the mattresses were replaced; they definitely needed to be.

Yes they do have an international cafe, Yummy. Not sure if the mattresses were replaced though!! They seemed fine to me!!

The International Cafe is alive and well on the Golden. Liots of good stuff there. Not sure of the mattress were replaced. Some might have but ours was not when we were on her in May. I always request an egg crate mattress but that is just me.

I was on the Golden in July, and the mattresses were okay. Didn't seem new, so I would say they were not.

 

 

The International Cafe is amazing!!! Beats the buffet by a long shot! We went there for lunch most days, and loved it.

Ditto to the postive comments about the International Cafe!! As far as the mattresses are concerned, they were not replaced. You can request an egg crate when you get on board...it'll help.

I just got off the Golden on Saturday. I loved the Int. Cafe. The mattresses were really hard. I had to ask for a mattress topper. It did help. I did not think the mattresses were bad on our two previous Princess Cruises. But this time they were way to hard. That and the rainy day in Juneau were the only things I did not like.;)

I did not notice any Gelato but I was not looking for it. Perhaps someone elso knows for sure.

We usually had lunch from the International Cafe rather than from the buffet or dining room. I also looked forward to afternoon milk and cookies!

No gelato, they had no room for the machine after the drydock. :(

Make sure you try their donuts in the morning ~ they are yummy! :) Have to get them early, they disappear fast.
