Coffee in Neptune

So, we are boarding Westerdam on Sunday. Recently received a call to upgrade from SY to a deluxe suite for a nominal fee and did it. Will this "machine" in Neptune compare to what is available in Explorations Cafe? I'm wondering about the Explorations Cafe Coffee Card. The coffee card is $29.90 for ten drinks--quite a deal if it is for mochas, latte's, frapp's etc. No need to waste the money though if the coffee machine is comparable. I appreciate your opinion.

DH doesn't drink a lot of coffee any more.

But he does love the espresso and latte's in the Neptune Lounge.

The coffee machine in the Neptune IMO makes really good coffee's. It is automatic machine that is seen at many venues. I always used the Neptune and never purchased a specialty coffee.

When we have had S suites, the coffee machine has only worked in the Neptune about half the time. Other times, they brought containers from the Lido (I would guess). The Neptune coffees are very good, but the ones you buy are better. We have found the cost to be less without the coffee card.

Coffee in Neptune Lounge is excellent IMO Even the decaf is good and that is not always the case.

 

Once in a while we buy a coffee at Explorations but we enjoy Neptune's so much, we don't bother with a coffee card. If we want one from Explorations, we just buy it.
