Would appreciate knowing the showtimes. On the “S” class they are always at 7:00 & 9:00. Thanks to all who have shared their recent experience!

We have sailed Reflection many times as well as the Silhouette and Equinox. We love the “S” class ships. The Reflection is one of our favorites. The last few months there have been some complaints about the food quality, but after many that have reached out to the executive office they claim to be making changes. We have not yet made a decision on the “ E” class. I will report back when we return.

Will be watching your sail away tomorrow on the Webcam . 🎉🥂🎉🥂 As you walk through the Oceanview Cafe, I would appreciate it if you can let me know if they have expanded the outside sitting area and setup of the tables out there. When we were on the Beyond last November, the area was not very large and the tables were set up communal style. We are spoiled with the outside area on the Reflection, which we sail on again this Saturday!! We are booked to sail on the Ascent next Nov. and the following April. That is of course if my DH can deal with the Infinite Veranda this upcoming summer on the Beyond. We were fortunate to get a sunset veranda last year. Unfortunately the prices have gone up quite a bit and they are hardly available. July of 24 on the Beyond will be our first in an Infinite Veranda & the test. 🤞🤞 In the meantime enjoy your evening in Ft Lauderdale & an exciting embarkation day!!!

We do enjoy the cruising life very much & have many booked! I would not ever have mentioned this if it were not that it was brought up by the powers that be. No sour taste & no other issues other than the IV. Sorry for RAGGIN! Happy Cruising!

It’s very disappointing to see that only 4 infinite veranda cabins were replaced with regular balconies! During one of the interviews that Laura Hodges gave she mentioned that we would be seeing the addition of the standard veranda cabins that many of us love. Little did we know it would only be 4 and in the forward section of the ship!! So 4 out of approximately 1200. What a shame - why did they bother!

Funny, I just checked and 1.25hrs is nuts!! I am so sorry you are going through this. We are originally from NY and know the distance. You are right, it SHOULD NOT take more than 40 minutes on a Saturday morning. Good Luck! Hope you have enough time for your flight!

Thank you for letting me know they did not have facial recognition. Reading this and a driver being late just makes me say I’d better rethink the 12noon flight. Yes, we would do Carmel, but our window for a delay is very short. Hope you enjoyed your September cruise!

Thank you very much for your research and feedback! Agreed about the lines outside for taxis. We see it all the time at Port Everglades. Fortunately we drive to the port. I did call Carmel and they quoted me $65.50 plus tip . That’s really not bad. I really need to give this some more thought. Nothing worse then ending a beautiful cruise all stressed about disembarking and catching a flight! Thank you again & Happy Cruising!

We won’t do self disembarkation, but would request the first departure following that.

Given that there will be approx 3000 passengers, this may be the way to go & on par with Uber. It’s to risky I think the other way and you are right about 930 in the car! Once again , thank you ! Hi fellow cruisers~ we are sailing our first Princess Cruise next August on the Enchanted. I would like to book our flight back to Florida at 12 Noon. Without doing the self assist and not stressing to get off the ship, will we have sufficient time to get to La Guardia by say 11am. We are very familiar with debarking Celebrity ships in Florida & without a mad rush almost all are off the ship by 930 or so. Also I wonder if the Brooklyn Port has the face recognition for departures. I checked under the NY port info, but did not find anything specific enough. I did however see the recommendation to reserve Carmel Car service as opposed to trying to hail and Uber. Any information or recommendation will be much appreciated!

Following along. We will be sailing on Reflection November 25th & possibly again Feb 3( final payment coming due) . Have sailed her many times and always great. We like many are very concerned about the decline in the food quality and more limited choices. Wishing you a great cruise and a smooth crossing!

Hello Fellow Cruisers, Considering the Rotterdam for the end of January - 9 night ABC. Have not been on HAL since the NS in 2019. We do the 8pm dinner and enjoy drinks, a little dancing and music pre dinner. That was non existent on the NS in 2019. Has HAL brought back music in the Ocean Bar early evening? Also is the music in Rolling Stone strictly “rock” or a good mix of genres for dancing? in advance, many thanks!

Will be sailing a New England & Canada & a few Caribbean sailings. Can anyone comment on the typical showtimes for these cruises. I’ve seen some posts that show 7 & 9 which is typical for Celebrity. The 730 & 930 times were typical for the European sailings. Many thanks!

We are seasoned cruisers who have booked our first Princess sailing on the Enchanted for end or August 2024 to New England & Canada . Other than a guarantee which we are not comfortable with, the only other balcony option was for a standard balcony. I realize we will not have the sofa/love seat in the cabin, but all else appears to be the same. I booked cabin D703 ( Dolphin Deck) which has the extended balcony. Any reason not to take this? My bigger question- we are contemplating booking the Sun Princess. The dates that I have looked at only ( in our price range) and not forward are cabins on the extended area almost mid ship, deck 14 - Cabin 14427. I realize no one has sailed on her yet, but does anyone have a take on that Cabin and area. We normally don’t take cabins that high up , but realize the ship configuration on the Sun is different. The other option was the Cove balcony which is not very appealing to us. Had hoped to find some good group pricing but have been unable to do so. Appreciate any feedback you can provide. Thank you in advance.
