  1. Don't know of any NCL ship that has laundry facilities. That doesn't definitively mean there are none, just that I don't know of any. But they'll be happy to do your laundry for you- for a price, of course!
  2. We did this same cruise last year. (4/8-4/15). The Bermuda Travel Authorization and testing was still in place. Still hadn't received confirmation come the morning of 4/6, so had to call to "nudge" the process along. Made mistake of using the main number on the website, not the toll-free number. Started at 22nd caller in their "queue". My "mistake" cost me $75.00 on my next months phone bill. Lesson learned!! Sailed again ( same cruise) in October/ November. Travel authorization was sill in place, but testing had stopped a week before we cruised. Happy Sailing!
  3. Thanks to John Denver, who wrote " Leaving on a Jet Plane" in 1967, and to Peter, Paul, and Mary ( Mary on vocals and Peter and Paul singing harmony), who recorded the song in 1969 and made it the hit it became. Miss them both!
  4. Yes. Chocolate, whole, and 1% on our last cruise.
  5. Even though it will still be early, make your specialty dining reservations to ensure you get the times you want. Show reservations, if applicable, are at 21 days. Final payment at 120 days. Outside of that, relax and count down the days.( which always increase in length somehow the closer your cruise gets!). Happy Cruising!
  6. Go to NCL's website. Scroll down to the bottom of page. Click on "Accessible Cruising". Should answer all your questions.
  7. That may be your experience, but not ours. Our last two cruises, e-docs were not ready until the day after they were submitted. You shouldn't assume that everyone is in the same boat, so to speak,
  8. Sorry, my above post should have said 'Print Luggage Tags".
  9. We've never received an e-mail saying our e-docs were ready, as RJM11 stated. Though YMMV. We've always had to keep checking our online account until a notice shows up that the e-docs are ready to print. Usually ready by the next day, at the latest. Don't forget to print your luggage tags at the same time. There will be an area within your e-docs that basically says " Print E-Docs".
  10. Thanks PistolPete!! I'll try changing my user name to my e-mail address. Can't hurt to try. By the way, we have the same exact number of posts. What are the odds?
  11. Four times in the last two weeks the site won't recognize my username or password. When it asks you if you've forgotten your username or password and to put in your name and latitudes number, it won't recognize those either. I've now had to set up a new user account four times. It also doesn't matter if I switch from Firefox to Edge. Nothing works. Frustrating.
  12. Forgot to mention. Tobacco Bay from ferry terminal is about a mile walk, more or less. About 20 minutes. Uphill. ( Downhill on return!) If not into walking, shuttle/ taxi service available in King's Square. Used to be $7.00 per carload, not sure of pricing today.
  13. Temps in the 75-80+range. Humidity building. Ocean temps low 70s. Frog and Onion restaurant in the Dockyard, Swizzle Inn a short distance away ( taxi, bus ride). Numerous other wonderful places to eat around the islands. Be prepared for sticker shock, as everything is imported and prices can be in the stratosphere! Spend a day at the beach! Horseshoe ranks among some of the world's finest beaches. Tobacco Bay in St. Georges is great for snorkeling. It's a protected , shallow swimming area, great for kids. Snorkeling equipment is available for rent. NCL runs a free ferry to St. Georges. You'll have a ferry schedule in your cabin. You can also do mini-golf in the Dockyard, visit the zoo/aquarium, go through the caves, rent a moped ( not recommended), rent a pedal bike, go jet skiing, do a glass bottom boat, go for a sunset cruise to the "Bermuda Triangle", play golf on some of the world's finest courses, etc. All of these things to do have multiple web sites on the net, FYI. NCL has excursions to do most things. If you want to save significant dollars over NCL pricing, book your excursions privately, or use public transportation ( which is cheap and very good) to plan your own. Happy Cruising!!
  14. Table games open at 9:00 and stay open until interest in playing them has waned, usually somewhere around 1:00-3:00AM. Slots open at 9:00 and remain open until 5:00AM.That is how it has been on all our cruises to Bermuda.
  15. OP here. Originally offered 20% off an oceanview. (About $400.00). This after our last seven or eight cruises were comped balconies or clubs. After several phone calls and e-mails, ( to different , more experienced reps), was able to get $1800.00 off a club balcony. Still have to pay the usual charges and admin fee, plus a smaller charge towards the club.Grateful, but the offers have still declined overall. Our casino spend hasn't changed in ten or more years. But the offers certainly have.
  16. 1. 2-4PM 2. You pick your check-in time, not your embarkation time. Everyone embarks at the same time ( when the ship sails). If you're late for your check-in time, not a problem. 3. One of the main dining rooms, usually the forward MDR, along with O'Sheehans, the Great Outdoors, and offerings in the pool area are open for lunch.I recommend the MDR. 4. Not in my experience. 5. Probably not. Pretty much the same excursions on this cruise year-to-year, unless a business goes belly-up, or a new one comes on-board ( no pun intended!).
  17. Things can , and do, change a lot in seven years!
  18. They switched the " That's what I like" brand to the "Pause that refreshes " brand. Personally, my choice was diet Pepsi over regular Pepsi, but Coke over diet Coke. Not a game changer.
  19. If you need to use the elevator, your party will be allowed to remain with you. There is also a separate security line for mobility impaired folks, and your party will be allowed to use that also. Then you'll have priority check-in, as you are in the Haven. And of course, first group on the ship!!
  20. On our last cruise in October on the Pearl, if I remember correctly, it was $49.00 plus 20% gratuity, or $58.80.
  21. Sorry, missed the "plus". My bad! Have been doing taxes all day and my refund keeps coming up in the "negative" range. So my brain wasn't thinking in the "plus"zone!!
