  1. Maybe put P&O first in your title, "P&O cruiser tries Saga".
  2. Credit cards are already pre registered and photos uploaded, although it seems that P&Os IT system rejects quite a lot of photos, and the check in process now does seem much slicker, especially as the cruise cards ae now in your cabin. However I have always believed that rules are for the guidance of wise men, and the observance of fools, so like you I usually took a chance and arrived early before I was Caribbean level, fortunately I now get priority boarding and early check in times.
  3. Failed miserably yesterday to find joker, but got a magnificent today on Wordle.
  4. No I was meaning if you later moved the booking to a different cruise.
  5. It is charged per port, but you can use each shuttle a second or third time for free.
  6. It is also P&Os maximum handling weight as well.
  7. Do P&O want additional money above the original £50pp deposit then?
  8. Select fares still enjoy free shuttles.
  9. I don't think you need to be onboard to amend this cruise, simply talk to your TA and give them the new cruise you want to move it to, and as long as the fare is no less than the original booking, they will be able to move the booking to your new choice.
  10. I found the same passport issue Selbourne, but I just put it down to yet another P&O IT glitch.
  11. Is that different to what was happening in Ocean Terminal in Feb. and October. They had 2 check in desks where you completed all the booking in then went straight to security?
  12. Yes there was an overview of the entertainment, but I guess the app has meant there is no need for that. Although the app only gives you one week at a time, whereas even on a 35nt cruise you had most of the entertainment listed as you boarded.
  13. I imagine that all cruise lines set their crew levels based on the average passenger numbers per cruise. It's just unfortunate for those who have no option but to travel in peak season that they will find the ships very busy, and service slower than usual.
  14. That could be due to the poor design of Britannia's Atrium, which does not tempt us to sit there for long.
  15. I suspect this will be one of many glitches that the IT system will have thrown at this new system. If you could get someone, senior enough, and intelligent enough to appreciate this is lunacy, then you might get this amended.
  16. They used to have a listing by day which showed arrival and departure time, dress code, themed buffet dinners, any time changes, plus some other items I cannot remember.
  17. Can you obtain a schedule of the planned theme dinners from customer service, like you could pre covid.
  18. But there are still many people whose phones are not 4g or 5g, and although 3g is planned to be phased out no timescale has yet been agreed, and my understanding is that 2g is not yet planned to be withdrawn. So why has the govt not included both these in their alert programme?
  19. The alerts only work on 4g and 5g networks, hence my 2g and 3g phone stayed silent.
  20. It was probably a 300 ml bottle with a pump dispenser.
  21. Glad I was not the only one in Yorkshire not to receive an alert.
  22. We were able to get some body lotion from the steward on Iona in February.
  23. It's a separated area aft on deck 18, not seen it in use however, so unable to comment on how parents use it. And although Arvias splash zone is bigger, they are both a lot smaller than Royal Caribbeans Spash away Bay.
  24. You do realise that 90%+ of the stuff your vac picks up is carpet fibre......just saying.
