I first learned about Clase Azule and that bottle from episodes of Below Deck. It seemed to be very popular with high paying guests along with Juan Julio 1942 as tequila for choice. The bottle is a great art piece that I will save. My bar is almost all over the place. I have a dedicated space for whiskey and bourbon and then several bar carts for all my tiki rums and other spirits. I need to organize it better but needless to say I have enough that would be as good as some bars.

The bottle almost looks Scandinavian.  I’m not a fan of realty shows . I think they are scripted otherwise boring unless you’re a Larry David . Who pays whom on those shows.  I’ve already mentioned that I spoke with the dad of one contestant on the Apprentice and he told me it is not what it appears to be. His daughter must have signed a non disclosure agreement.

I’m glad you are getting so much pleasure out of your collection.

That’s a very interesting bottle and it would make a unique lamp if Linda would  agree to it.  You mentioned your collection and I was wondering if you’ve ever posted a pic of your bar.

Maybe I should of said tearable.

Some don't catch ..... I forgot the punchline of a boxing joke.

I didn’t get it , either.  I googled it and found it on Reddit. In defense of HBE4 and myself, it was a little obtuse.  Anyway, I was wondering about you since it had been a few days since you had posted anything. I know , you wouldn’t just leave without saying goodbye like some have done.

    CNN —

A preliminary 4.7 magnitude earthquake was felt in the Northeast Monday morning, according the US Geological Survey

We have earthquake insurance on our house in Southern California. They can expect aftershocks in the Northeast.

Dani , I hope you are feeling better.

Yikes!!!!! We told our son who is joining us that we were getting him and us the UDP. It had better go down from the $412.99 per person it is now. No way am I going to pay that much.

Wishing everyone a joyful day ! A very happy birthday to Eric 🎂 !

Greg , that pretty much puts you in a quandary with your son.  I don’t have any business experience but I’m pretty sure RCI will set the final price at what the market will bear. Start out high and let them think they are getting a bargain as they lower the price and they still make a profit.  I’m just wondering if the number of restaurants will affect the set price of UDP.  As far as those cabanas I’m not interested.

Now days doctors are very conscious about ordering pain meds/ narcotics.

The current standard has been to attain surgical and post op course with a “ non narcotic” approach.

As I was getting ready to retire we were transitioning in this current safety protocol.
For our area it was not 100% narcotic free surgical pain management nor post op.
But a combination of various blocks, receptor blocking meds…………

But aside from all the mumbo jumbo it provides a physician directed guided plan.
Your physician and his/her closet medical team will direct your care knowing from experience what the most common healing time frame is.

That is one of the reasons your prescription for pain meds has a case determined number of pills with no refills.

Ok. So now to answer your question.
When we send a person home with post op instructions we too tell them to take the pain med ordered “Around the clock” for the immediate post op recovery phase. Usual not to exceed 3-4 days.

    Why?

if you block your own bodies nerve pathways before the pain starts than the goal and you have one happy camper.

Also another factor is the individual surgical procedure and the level of pain it produces.

Remember I am a Nurse. Anesthetist. And practiced side by side with Anesthesiologist  who were educated in more detail in the practice of medicine than I. so I always had a great resource person.

    Oh so much mumbo jumbo.

    However. All being said.
    Take “their advice”

    They know best.
    You can read my view.
But I do not know all your health history or needs to determine what is best for you.
But as a friend I will attempt to help you understand what your physician ordered.
    AS YOU PRACTICE HIS INSTRUCTIONS.

But what I can say is it is done. All over. HAPPY HEALING.

SeaDog 2026 -  I don’t think I made that up but that’s surely possible 😂   I just used that because he started by booking it and people began to jump onboard with him after posting here.  Some are calling it Bella 3.75 too.

    Here it is:

Thank you ! This must be a mathematically inclined group of CPAs , engineers and obviously mathematicians to be referring to cruises in decimals.

Thank you for your help !

  9. I’m confused as to what’s what as far as Bella and Sea Dog cruises.

    Bella 1 completed

                Utopia Bahamas 2/25

It is hard to sort things out except for the one I’m booked on .

SW has fares of $81 to Las Vegas from San Diego and I suppose it gives them the right to advertise as from …..

  10. We shall see because we booked an infinite veranda on Edge to Alaska in September.  It will be our first sailing on Celebrity .  I was looking at our booking with the 75% discount from a super inflated price .  They must think we are clueless as to their marketing ploys.  What is CEL SLCT() in reference to dining ?

Thank you for all the helpful posts.

  11. Dani ,  both your meals look scrumptious.  We are so happy to see you out to celebrate . A belated happy birthday to your oldest son.

Bethany ,  the last time I toured the White House ,  we were greeted by Barbara Bush out on the grounds with her dog Millie.  She was very gracious.

Jane , good luck today . Wishing for you a successful surgery and a quick recovery.

Yes I've posted a few times for sure I'm replacing appliances so ignore the color. Well I hope this is the last time I move. I'm getting old enough each move is harder. This time is for me not for resale.

I feel your pain for sure . We moved 3 times in 6 years and I don’t intend to move again unless it is absolutely necessary.  MJ gave you some good advice. I would just slowdown . I’ve taken one class in interior decorating which makes me no expert.

Is anyone really good at colors. Decorating isnt my forte. Sure anyone can hire someone to change out countertops etc but I dont have a artistic flair. My painter wants a color of "white" so he can go in this week and paint. I cant make up my mind. Yesterday I wanted heron plume, today I'm back to alabaster.

This shows the color of the cabinets and the granite countertop. My real estate agent and this guy are both pushing for new cabinets. For sure new appliances so ignore appliance color. If I get rid of cabinets, I'd lose the granite countertop. Right now I need a paint color. One thing at a time. . .. anyone have a preference?

My advice would be to slow down and wait until you get over there and look at the property itself as far as lighting, etc.  It would be worth your while , I think , to stay in a hotel while they paint.  It depends how long you expect to live there because you may want to think of resale. The appliance looks outdated and maybe just reface the cabinets.

Then we do the other eye though. Next monday or Monday after next. Oh my. I guess I need to get my butt to the store for coffee creamer and such I cant do without. It doesnt say dont bend over, it says dont bend.

I am getting a ride there.

Thanks for the tips. I'm a bit nervous.

I can’t generalize because everyone is different but personally I didn’t have any problems with my cataract surgery. No pain during or after and I was driving the next day only because I had one eye done at a time.

Best of luck to you .
