Thank you all, your all so sweet, but like I said I owe it all to my BEAUTIFUL MOTHER ! It's sometimes hard for me to believe I'm now 70 & that I have a son who turned 50! :eek: I try to tell people "I had him when I was 12" ! LOL But thank you again for all the nice compliments. Really appreciate it & it lifts my spirits! :) It's been a hard couple of months as my DH just finished 43 treatments of radiation but is now on the mend so we will have lots to celebrate on this cruise. :D

70th? There is no way, 60th birthday maybe but not the 70th. You look fabulous!!!

Thanks everyone for the nice compliments. Really appreciate it. Our cruise is to celebrate my 70th. birthday, my DS & DDIL's 50th. birthday's so the dress will be perfect. :) The Green gown that Marie sent me will be for our cruise in March to celebrate St. Paddy's Day. :D

This is a BIG THANK YOU to Marie! :D Just received the gown today & couldn't wait to show it off. It's just BEAUTIFUL & my DH loves it too. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, Marie for being so generous. Can't wait to wear it on our cruise in Nov./Dec. :) Would love to some day meet Marie in person.

Also, you will LOVE Alaska. We cruised for our 25th. anniversary & did the land tour. It was one of the best cruises we've ever done. Pictures just can't describe the beauty. I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time.

Yay... my list of things to do is getting a bit shorter. I just booked an Alaska cruise for next year. We met Dennis and Anne on the last year cruise. We became good friends. They will be joining us on the next year cruise. After the cruise they will be staying with us ten days to see the sites, then we will drive to the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, Yellowstone, Seattle then to BC for our 14 day cruise to Alaska. Our first time to Alaska; I am very excited. The most important things to do on my list is to renew my husband's passport and add pages to my. I better get my ass moving :D.

 

I bought this dress for my next cruise. I love it, but my girls are a bit too big for it. It is size M.

This is Michael Kors size 8. I wore it once.

 

 

 

This is size 8, but if you are size 10 it will fit. I never wore it.

I too want to take just a moment to say thank to to all the ladies here for your generosity and generosity of spirit. "Win" or "Lose" I love the kindness and fellowship we share. Yes, there are a few bad apples in the barrel now and then, griping about never getting anything, or something not fitting, but for the most part we are a bunch of strangers who came together by accident because of our love for cruising, and became friends. That's a rare and beautiful thing and we need to treasure it.

Just want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH for the beautiful "green gown" that you sent. I just love it & it arrived safe & sound yesterday (Monday). Can't wait to wear it for St. Paddy's Day! I did also send you a private email to say it arrived but just wanted to make sure you knew I had received it. My DH just loves it too & thinks the color is perfect (of course him being 100% Irish, he would love that color! LOL).

I think all the medications I was taking have damaged my brain. My husband came back from the post office holding a box.

Me: OMG! I am going to hit you on the head!

I too agree that you should ALWAYS send a thank you that you received an item when someone has gone to the trouble to mail it & GIVE you a dress, shoes, purse etc. Along with the appreciation of the item, it's nice to know that it was received! :)
