Love this dress Sherrie and Judy! It's elegant and beautiful! Reminds me of the dresses I admire when I watch the 40's and 50's movies.

Thanks so much & the dress does fit! I just didn't have time to take a picture, had to leave for the dentist! :eek: It looks just like the picture so I'm very pleased. :)

My dress arrived & I love it! I haven't tried it on yet, but will post a picture when I do. Can't believe it got here so fast. :D

That's funny, my "kiddos" are now 50 yrs. old!! (We'll be celebrating birthdays on the cruise, even tho they are over, this was the best time for us to go.) Not sure how that happened, since I'm only "29 again" !! LOL Again, thanks for a great review.

Well ladies, I did it! I won the bid for the "blue cocktail dress" on eBay! :D It's the one that "Drew's Wife" got in the Purple. Will post a picture when I get it, should be here in about 2-3 wks. :)

Just wanted to tell you that the purple dress arrived yesterday and it is so pretty. I almost like it better than the blue dress. I was surprised that it arrived so quickly. The other two dresses are on the way so hopefully they will be as nice.

They usually give you an estimated date of delivery, but they do offer express delivery, I believe. :) When your looking at the exact dress there should be info on the delivery dates.

Do you prepay for this package, meaning "pay now & not put on your Sign&Sail" card? Thanks for any help.

Hope everyone had a nice weekend...I was up late last night and as usual checking out dresses. Won this one on Ebay for a song....I'm blaming Joyce for this..;)..I saw her two beautiful floral dresses that she bought and decided that I wanted to try something floral and tropical! So Joyce, this one is all your fault!:D

 

 

I do like the color....hoping it is the aqua/turquoise that shows on the screen....thought it would be nice for one evening at dinner. I'll have to wait till it arrives, but have no idea about a shoe to go with this...Open to ideas!

Oh, Sherrie, LOVE this dress. Make sure you let us know what it's like when you receive it. I think some kind of "strappy" sandal would look good. Try checking Bealls for some, they always have colorful ones. Good luck with the dress. :)

Thanks Sherrie for the invite, but again this year my DH is out of town until Thurs. PM, so we wouldn't beable to make it, but at least he'll be home in the PM & the nx day for my birthday! :)

Also, glad everyone liked my bargain on the dress. The color didn't show up to good tho, it's actually a lighter gray than what it looks like in the pic, almost a "silver gray".

Hello Ladies, Here's a dress I got last wk. at a Penny's that closed in Titusville, FL. Great bargin, $36. & it fit's great. :)

Sherrie, I went to Payless & bought these shoes in the multi bronze & red and they were only $10.00 each!! :D Couldn't believe it :eek: And you were so right, they are comfortable. Thanks for posting them. :)

Hi Sherrie, Loved all your dresses, especially the "short" blue one & I thought you looked great in that picture. Glad you had a good time. We're now looking for another cruise or two, one in the spring & then one nx fall with our oldest son & his wife, so I may have to do some more shopping!!! :D Forgot to say how "spiffy" Drew looked in all the pictures too! You look great in both dresses. I also love yellow and wear the color often especially on cruises. Your shoes are beyond cute! May I ask where you bought your dresses and shoes?

Thanks for the nice compliments. I got my dress's at Dillard's & the yellow one is a Jessica Simpson dress. The shoes are also from Dillard's but I've had them for a couple of years, so not sure if you'll beable to fine them. :(

Also, thanks everyone else for the nice comments, really appreciate it. I too like the "dark hair" but don't think I would ever go back to it. :) Just fun to change it when I feel like it.

Thanks so much for the replies! Had fun "surprising" my DH with the "The Hair". I was born a blond, but like so many others my hair turned dark as I got older, but then I went back to "blond from a bottle" (like so many others!) LOL :D:D
