  1. So HAPPY to hear they changed the policy, but we were a week early for it to help us! :( We took 2 bottles, but they took it from us at the port, but we got it back on the last night of the cruise :D now we won't have to worry about it for our next cruise, YEA! We also like to just have it in our cabin, & sometimes just take a glass with us to dinner, but then buy some also at the table. Glad to see they are allowing it now like all the other ships we've been on. :)

  2. Love your PG pictures, Chrystal, so cute. :D When my niece was PG with her wee baby girl, she took a cute picture that I thought you might like to do at home. She tied a BIG PINK bow (you would use BLUE) around her tummy as she was looking down and it was such a cute idea. Just an idea for you to celebrate your happy news. Your dress was very cute also & your DH looked very handsome too!

  3. Loving your review & all your pics. So sorry to hear of the loss of your Grandmother. It's never easy to lose someone we love & care about.

So glad you liked Pier 66. We've had several of our class reunions there as I gratuated from Ft. Laud. High (long time ago LOL). But my early years were in south Jersey too. (I may have mentioned it before in other posts to you. I'm from Cape May & my DH is from Wildwood.)

Looking forward to the rest of your review & I'm sure you LOVED Allure, just like we LOVED Oasis! Can't wait to go on either of them again. :D But leaving this Sunday on FOS so at least we're cruising again!! ;):D

  4. Judy those shoes are ever so pretty.

They have black ones in that style too and for circa $32 that is a good price.

Thanks all about the shoes. :D The color in my picture looks more brown/bronze but they are really more of a Gold (forgot to put that in my post). I didn't see the black ones, maybe I'll have to go back!! ;)

  5. Hi ladies' date=' Hope everyone is doing well....[/b']

Just wanted to give an update on one of the dresses I ordered earlier this month.

The grey and magenta gown with the floral bottom just arrived (have not received the short blue dress yet).

The dress fits very well, and is the perfect length...no hemming needed this time.:)

The dress comes with detachable straps....the dress is pretty. I'm not used to wearing anything that is floral or has sparkly things on it. However I think I can pull if off for one evening on a tropical cruise. I'm just afraid it might stand out too much and I just don't like to do that. One reason that I always order dark jewel tone solids.:o

I'm hoping the blue one fits as welll as this dress but also hoping it is better quality. I have to say that the quality of this dress is nothing compared to the seller that I have always bought from. But then for $20, I figure I can wear it for a change.

Judy, once I get the blue dress, I will let you know what I think about it!:)

Thanks, Sherrie. I was just going to send you an e-mail to see if you received the "blue dress", too funny! :D Not sure if you saw my post awhile back, but they don't have that dress in my size any more! :( I waited to long to order, but I keep checking to see if they have gotten any more. Look forward to what you think of the dress when you get yours.

  7. I would love to see a few images of Donegal- I did a genealogy search a while back and discovred that my ancestors immigrated from Donegal around 400 years ago. Now it's on my wish list of places to see.

I will post some pics soon from Donegal. My DMIL was born in Carrigart, Co Donegal, just a BEAUTIFUL place. You should definitely make a trip over. We have relatives in Letterkenny, Ramelton, Cranford, & Carrigart, all in Donegal.

    IrishLassie,

Thanks for the comments on the old cameras. I am glad it brought back memories. The old Kodak was my fathers "good" camera which I kind appropriated, let's see, in the early 1960s. :o

I ran a roll of film through the Yashika. It was certainly different than digital. I just may have to load it up again.

Your welcome & hope your pics come out! I received my camera in 1959! I also have an old "Brownie". When my Dad had his photoshop in Cape May, NJ, he used to rent them out to summer visitors, so we still had some from that time.

  8. A new lens baby is a nice toy, and nice photos. :) I also received sort of a gift. I owned these two good old boys years ago, and recently got them back. I have a roll of film in the Yashica to play with, but I think the old Kodak has seen its last.

Love this picture, even tho it's from over a year ago! My Dad who was a photographer, gave me & both my sisters a Yashica for our 16th. birthdays & I still have mine! Not sure if it works as I haven't used it in years, but it was a great camera. The picture of this camera really brought back wonderful memories as my darling Dad has been gone 20 yrs. :)

  9. The quality was good on a few and what I thought just fair on others. I won them at very good prices and figured I could sell them around prom time for what I gave for them, so no big deal.....a few of them looked like the pictures....others, to me, did not.....I won't order from them again because of the sizing difference......

Thanks again for the info. I went in to order the dress that "Sherrie" ordered & it's no longer available in my size!! I guess it just wasn't meant to be. I'm going to keep checking to see if they get any more!

  10. Thank you for your beautiful picture in Waterford. We didn't see Waterford when we were in Ireland but we did see some pretty views.

Glad you liked the picture. Have been to Ireland many times as my DMIL is from Co. Donegal so I have lots of photos from all over Ireland. It's my favorite place in the world & I would go every year if I could to visit ALL the relatives! :D That picture was taken when I took my son & DIL over to meet everyone. Loved your pictures too & have been to the "cliffs" a couple of times, beautiful place.

  11. I have won several dresses from Ever Pretty off ebay......the dresses run very small.......I have been wearing a 2x (gulp) but when I won several size 2x from them and received them, they were all to small....bid on and won a size 3x in one of the dresses that I really liked and it was also to small. Out of, I think 8 or 9 dresses, I could wear one and that was only because it stretched....

Thanks for this info. Other than the size being to small, how was the quality of the dresses? Were they pretty much like the pictures?

  12. Oh' date=' Gee, I knew I should have just ordered from the lady that I have always purchased from instead of going to a different site! Oh, well if it's something that I can't wear it won't be the first time! Wish I had seen some reviews from this seller before I had made the purchases....Live and Learn!:)[/b']

Oh wow, now I don't know what to do!! According to the size chart I should order a size 8 (same as the other seller that you & I have ordered from). I would hate for it to be to big tho, but I could always pass it to my one sister who is smaller than me. Or maybe I'll wait to order until you receive yours & you can let us know how it fits. :D What do you think?

  13. The shipping was $6.99! Much less than the shipping on the other dresses we have ordered.....Hopefully there are no hidden charges! It has shipped and the date says between 9-25 and 10-5. I did win it on a bid for seventeen and some change' date=' so hopefully I got a deal..:)[/b']

Thanks, Sherrie. I wasn't going to bid, just buy at 42.50, & I think it says Free shipping. I think I'll go for it! :D I think you did get a deal.

  14. Judy' date=' [/color']

Of course I don't mind...why we could even wear them to the Post one night and be the "we're not sisters" ladies. :D

See if this link will work.... if not let, me know and I wil try again....if you go to the site, and one the side, click what size dress...it should be bring up all the dresses in that size....I still see it on there in several sizes....They don't have an item number for each dress the way most Eba sites do...Would make it much easier.

Hi Sherrie, one more question about this blue dress :o. Did you get free shipping on it? I think that's what the site says, but not sure. I still can't decide if I should order it, but I love it!! :D When do you expect to receive yours?

  15. Thanks Judy' date=' [/b']

I have already received emails that both dresses have shipped...they give dates the first week of October.. and I won't need them till later, so should work out great....if they fit!:rolleyes::D

Thanks again. Do you know if the dress has a "built in bra"? I couldn't find any info about that on the site? I'm really tempted to buy it, even tho I don't need it!! :p But as I always tell my DH, "I don't need it, but I want it"! LOL

Have you ever "bid" on a dress on EBay?

  16. Judy' date=' [/color']

Of course I don't mind...why we could even wear them to the Post one night and be the "we're not sisters" ladies. :D

Thanks so much, Sherrie. I did find it. I think that would be fun to dress alike as the "we're not sisters"! LOL I'll let you know if I order it. When do you expect to receive yours?

Also, love the other one too, BEAUTIFUL colors. Hope it works for you. :D

  17. Good morning ladies' date='[/color']

Was up early and started "window shopping"!;) I had been thinking about looking for a couple of new short cocktail dresses for the cruise and the upcoming holidays. I've never bought from this site before, so not really sure what to expect....hopefully it will be OK....if not I didn't lose a lot!;):)

Hi Sherrie, I just LOVE this dress that you ordered! I went into the website, but couldn't find it. Was it just a "one of a kind" and did it come in other colors?? Hope you wouldn't mind if I order it too! :) We would just have to remember, if we ever are on a cruise together, not to wear it!!! :D Let us know when you receive it & what you think of it.
