I actually talked to LLP (in M club)before she became CEO, it was when the first news of E class ships came out. She seemed to really know what she was talking about. I came away thinking, wow, in a lot of ways. Anyway, in other news I posted a picture of her 'house' on here but the post got removed very quickly. That place is truly amazing.

On EQ two weeks ago the cooler was empty, I was surprised by that, first time it's been empty. I just assumed they stopped doing mini cooler sales.

I asked a bunch of women why they were just standing there, they were waiting for some 'special' kind of cake to come out. Not sure what the deal was with that and did stick around to see the 'cake'.

I saw the comment above about room service shrimp cocktail: That reminds me, the shrimp cocktail now (after Jan 1) contains three small shrimp so if you do that with room service make sure and order more than one, lol!

I think the answer to your question is that they don't have a choice, what they are doing is their only option to survive, as a company. You are right, we'll have to see if they make it.

Always take a printed copy of your invoice, that has what you'll get on it, even if you have to go to guest relations to get it, lol!

Ya, with the app it kind of makes it easier to track to see the 'numbers'. On my last cruise I came out basically even with the new pricing and my wife came out ahead (saving), both of us with the classic package. Next time I would probably go without if they didn't have the rule about both having to have it.

Yes, that's true. I guess I could have said, 'for those new to cruising' but this is an X forum. There are a lot of people new to X that read this stuff for info and don't ever post.

In that beverage link posted a few posts above. It used to be aournd $30/day but it's gone up, I think.

And, for people who are new to X, that might not know, that list isn't complete and can change at any time. Like beers choices, liquors, etc., so be careful with it, some of those brands have been on the list forever and will be there but others may or may not be on your sailing, there is no guarantee. Just saying....

If you like Virgin so much I'm surprised you like/would like X and kids won't be the problem.

Ya, as said above, no one is checking the checkin times at everglades. I 'think' that was a big deal during various covid, checking docs, time.

If X had to pay for all the misprints/web pricing errors, etc they have made they would be out of business. It's always bad when you see someone get misled/ripped off and it really sucks but it's been happening for years and years now. It's probably the most consistent thing that X does.

I sailed with an IV on Viking. It was in the Great lakes at end of summer so it worked fine, because of cooler weather and rain a couple of times. I didn't think I would like it but it was ok. A couple of things: bugs, I think they are going to have to find a way to add a retractable screen. Also, they had a couple of times bats got in and made there way into the HVAC duct and it took days to get them out. Anyway, if it was a cool weather trip and the price was right I would do IV, hadn't thought I ever would. I would never do one in the Caribbean or Med.

Is it because the person only was on M-class ships with the aft stairway/elevators? I don't really understand the review (at all) but I miss (on S class) the aft stairs on M class because I like cabins in the aft cabins and like the quick/easy 'access' to the aft bars, (lol).

OP: That's what I saw on EQ. The new menus are a lot different. A lot of pork and fish, even in OV.

Wait a minute, I'm fairly sure X doesn't have a board of directors, X is just a subsidiary. The board of directories is at the RCG level.

They are roped off and there are signs about the rental so I assumed they did indeed rent it but I didn't ask them, lol!

No sorry, I didn't mean at all you were wrong at all. I've just never checked out VO in the Caribbean, in fact I really never planned to cruise in the Caribbean until I did it on X, then noticed VO was there.
