  1. Surf is definitely still an option on the ship and yes, Enchantment does have Starlink.
  2. Welcome to 2014 RCI advertising when fake sales started.
  3. The info gets more complete/accurate as you get closer to sailing- it is still listed on the current sailing.
  4. Someone reported that (folks who hadn’t completed muster couldn’t get a drink) being tried on a ship - obviously it didn’t last.
  5. Yes, $2/pppd - three dots in the upper right corner.
  6. She had her mandatory 5 year dry dock last year (nothing meaningful done during that) - don't expect anything before her next one in 2026.
  7. On Enchantment this week (Starlink formalized as of two weeks ago according to Voom staff) and speed tests have been in the 3 Mbps range for Stream (ship at 97% capacity) - the latency, however, has been all over the place. As mentioned, that's a limit cap - doesn't mean one should expect that on every sailing all the time. BTW, Enchantment has similar speeds earlier this year with O3B.
  8. Netflix, and a lot of other streaming services, work just fine below the 4 Mbps usual limit.
  9. Liberty already has O3B and the switch to Starlink will likely only improve the latency somewhat. I would not expect any pricing changes due to the switch and it's highly unusual to not have both tiers of service (Surf, Stream) available in the planner.
  10. Most reports say that this is only available on Dec sailings.
  11. Ever since 2014 when O3B started being installed on RCI ships, two tiers were introduced and throttled. Like now with some Starlink installs, those speeds varied during the testing phase (some early O3B installs had 25Mbps down speeds). Eventually, both offerings settled on the current limit of .5 Mbps for Surf and 4 Mbps for Stream. Most reporting suggests those same limits will continue with Starlink and there's no indication they would be increased. The thing that changed over the three types of internet offerings is the latency, from a best of about 600ms on legacy installs, to 200ms with O3B and now maybe as low as 50ms with Starlink. It's that low latency that will allow most folks to perceive a performance improvement even if the speeds are kept at the old limits.
  12. Royal Up offers, whenever they come, arrive way before (by weeks likely) any wins are handed out (unless you book very late in which case the offer is likely to come within a day or two of booking) - as long as you check your email weekly, you won't miss anything.
  13. Look at the current sailing in the app for such activities.
  14. Latency (ping # when doing a speed test) seems highly variable which can cause the issues you are seeing - the maritime version of Starlink is still a work in progress.
  15. RCI will throw something at the wall and see if it sticks.
  16. The "normal" limit is about 4Mbps for Stream, but during the initial testing/install phase speeds can vary wildly.
  17. Kinda, but folks start new ones or post in various threads so it’s difficult to keep up. BTW, not all Starlink are the same.
  18. Just check in via a browser for the second sailing - don’t worry about completing the questionnaire.
  19. Like with virtually every post you see on CC you usually don’t have absolutes - that’s why that post says “usually “.
  20. It seems to have been added with the latest app version update - a few days ago.
  21. Offers usually come during work hours on EST between final payment and a couple of days before sailing.
  22. Practice at home on Wi-Fi as if you were in the ship - yes, ask a savvy tech person on app suggestions.
  23. Look at a similar sailing as yours in the app over the next couple of months and see if something like that is listed in the app under the activities tab.
