Radiance is my least favorite ship out of Long Beach (though we obviously haven't been on Firenze). It's not that it's bad, it's just not my fav. I just feel there are less options overall on that ship. I will say that tendering to Catalina took a long time as it seemed everyone was getting off the ship. The hallways were lined with people. We sail Firenze in October. We're looking forward to checking out a new and different kind of Carnival ship. Not sure any of that helps.

We booked a whale shark excursion in La Paz in January. Long story short, the tour left hours later than planned. The water was extremely rough. Only four people out of 20 went in the water (and immediately came out). Even the captain and first mate put on their life jackets. The tiny boat was slamming against the waves. Time was ticking away and we were nervous about missing the ship. The boat stalled twice on the way in. They dropped us on a beach and said that transportation would be waiting for us. (It wasn't.) We luckily hailed a taxi and made it back to the ship with three minutes to spare. Talk about stress!

So glad you saw whales! Your pics are awesome! I've seen whales in Cabo, but they were never this active. Good for you! Your pics of La Paz gave me PTSD.

My home bill is less than that a month, lol. I think we'll stick to one device at a time. Don't want the entire family on their computers in our little cabin during our vacation. But I totally understand that this is a need for some and that it could work out for them.

We're going out on the Legend from Southampton this summer. We are flying straight from Phoenix two days before (technically, we get at 11 a.m. on Wednesday and our cruise leaves on Friday). My sister wanted to see London and I made sure to tack on a day and a half before the cruise, just in case something happens.

This is what we plan on doing.

How exciting! Panorama is my favorite ship. We've sailed her twice. We LOVE having dinner at the steakhouse. The piano bar is next door and they open the wall so you can enjoy some music during dinner. This is one of my favorite parts of the ship. The arcade is small and the prizes are crappy. But I think that's pretty much every ship. We enjoyed Pig and Anchor a lot, mostly for drinks. We seemed to see the same people there every night. We also did the brewery tour, which was fun and interesting. Deion, the cruise director, was a lot of fun. We don't usually pay attention to the cruise directors, but he was pretty awesome. Have a blast!

We are cruising out of Dover this summer. Hoping to get a taxi in Dublin, but have an eight-year old who needs a car seat (at least here in the U.S.) Anyone have any experience with how things work in Ireland and England with car/booster seats?
