Definitely abused.  Don't know what the solution is, but at the very least, I think the wheelchair assists on SWA should be last out, like other airlines do it.

Last on, last off if you ask me. Bet that would really cut down on the use of wheelchair assistance.

    So true!
Plus they need to take a page from Disney and update their disability boarding policy.

“According to Disney, disability access has become the most widely requested service at the parks, with use more than tripling over the past five years.”

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/travel/2024/04/11/disney-disability-access-service-das/

A small population needs boarding assistance but a large number are taking advantage of it. On my last SWA flight 20 people pre boarded in wheelchairs and only about 3 waited for assistance to deplane. I think the solution is to provide them with boarding assistance but they have to wait for their A, B, or C number to be called. It will be a pain at first but will weed out the abuse.

The last time I flew SW there were probably at least that many wheelchairs lined up for preboarding. I overheard one woman saying “I can walk” and her daughter came running from getting her Starbucks and said “no mom you need a wheelchair”.  In other words we need to board first without paying for an early place in line.  I do like SW but they need to do something about their boarding routine. I wouldn’t even mind paying for a reserved seat when flying them. It more than makes up for it with the two free checked bags.

if you have the special glasses you can see it starting. They black out everything else

I had zero interest in the whole eclipse thing but my son gave me a pair of the glasses so I had to go out and look at it. It really is a pretty cool thing to observe. I hate to admit it 😂😂

I said I wasn’t going to fall into the “Eclipse Hype” but here I am with my neighborhood watching. I’m shocked the weather cleared. It’s a beautiful day in Cleveland.

I’ve got a perfect view of it from my backyard

Do you know if they are like Southwest and price out the same for one way flights?

They do. I always book one way flights.  Last time I flew Southwest on the way to Miami and Spirit for the way home. Same price whether you book one way or RT.

I completely agree. I also feel like if you fly Frontier, you have to know what you are getting in to. They fly into OKC on Sundays and Thursdays. I’m always tempted to fly them and then I remember if I miss that flight or it gets canceled.., I’ll be SOL for 3-4 days. That always changes my mind.

Frontier is hands down the worst of the worst of the budget airlines. And you are correct about cancelled flights and being rebooked 2-3 days later…..if there’s room on the next flight.  They don’t even pretend to give a 💩.  As far as the mom, she should’ve bought a seat for her 7 year old.

Technically "Cake by the Ocean" is by DNCE. I saw them in Vegas during a Billboards Awards show. The guitarist with DNCE JinJoo Lee is amazing. Maybe she will be with the Jonas Bros.

I think the fact that I know this and I am 67 is pretty funny.

My daughter saw the JoBros in September. They sang it then.

Busy day here, but I’m packed up. I was invited by Carnival to attend the Houston Rodeo tomorrow. Jonas Brothers are performing. Should be a good time. Got my boots and hat ready. I’ll post pictures. 😁

No they don’t ever show that part on the episodes. They just show the tip money.

Well I just looked up the St David yacht that’s in the current season and it’s $325k plus expenses per week for “low season” 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Have you seen the tips those charter guests leave? Around 1k per person per day.

Have you seen how much it costs to charter one of those Below Deck yachts?  Last time I looked it was around 100k for 3-4 days

I think I’m all caught up. Here is the rundown.

Three people were removed from the ship in Freeport. Two for being rowdy. One for being dead.

An altercation during the second half of the cruise lef to the 24 hour security service on deck 1.

And someone from deck 6 was arrested in Mobile

Seems like a rowdy crowd.  Well….except for the dead one.
